Up For Auction. A beautiful old crystal bowl! This wonderful old bowl has a beaded flower and heart shaped leaves pattern. The design on this bowl was molded in a three piece mold. This bowl is flawless and measures 10 in. across x 7 1/4 in. tall x 4 3/4 in. wide at the bottom. It has no chips. Cracks, scrpes or scratches. It has a few bubbles. I'm not sure if it is flint glass or not. One thing is for sure it rings like a bell when it is struck. And rings for a long time. The pattern is made up of multiple deads of different sizes. This pattern features three buzzsaws with crosscut diamond centers alternating with two beaded vesicas forming a V with a fan inside. There is a 12-point hobstar in the center. ITEM/ SHAPE: Nappies or bon bons. Two matching nappies are included in this auction. AGE: American Brilliant Period(c.1876-1916) BLACK LIGHT TEST RESULT: Fluoresces a lime green color. BLANK/ GLASS CLARITY: Very fine quality blown blanks. Bright. Water-white and clear. CUTTING DETAILS: Very precise execution and nice detail. POLISHING QUALITY: Appears to be a combination of wood/felt wheel and ... moreacid polishing. The finish is very good. Looks crisp, and exhibits fantastic brilliance. Up for an auction is an antique/ vintage lot of rosaries(6) Sterling silver pendant(1) necklace(1) Some of the rosaries are missing their bottoms and some just need a simple fix, but I didn’t want to try it. Some really interesting pieces and this lot includes the following: A beautiful sterling silver pendant/medallion depicting Mary. It measures 1 1/8 height x 1/2 wide and weighs.3oz. On the back it is marked"925" 8 MC" which means it was made between 1944-1968 in the province of Macerata. It is also marked"Italy" Sterling" and is signed on the bottom. I can't read the artist's name. But is evident it is signed. The detail and hand grave etching in this piece is very impressive A blue crystal rosary that measures 21” long. Cross to Pendant is 6 ½” inches and necklace part is 14 ½” inches. ... moreIt is marked with a“M” with the cross above it. Cut glass rosary. But missing the cross. It measures 14” inches long and it is marked medugorje on the bottom Cut glass bead. Multi color sparkle. It measures 17 ¼” long, cross to pendant is 6” and above the pedant is 11 ¼” inches. It is marked Italy and looks sterling but can’t be sure. Blue square cut class rosary. But missing the cross. It measures 19” and on the back of Mary it is marked with the“M’ with the cross above it. It has 1830 marked on it. But its not of that time age. A cut glass pendant necklace. It is marked Italy and measures 11 ½” long, the back of pendant has a monk with a halo hugging a baby Unique red cut glass rosary. It measures 23 ¾ long and is marked Italy, cross to pendant is 8 ¾ and above pendant is 15” inches long. It has the“M’ with the cross above it as well. It is lined with the references. A cut glass rosary the bottom is disconnected from the necklace but an easy fix. It measures 22 ½” long. Cross to pendant is 7” and above pendant is 16” inches. The 3 strand necklace will fit up to a 17" neck. The largest beads are 11mm and they graduate in size down to 6mm with double cone shaped bead spacers. The closure is hook and chain. The silvertone end pieces have crystal rhinestones set in them. One side is missing 3 rhinestones. There are teensy tiny nicks in some of the beads when I look at them through a loupe. The necklace is in beautiful shape for its age. The strands feel a bit tight. I'm not sure if they tighten with age or if ... morethe piece has been restrung. This vintage Fostoria clear glass vase has beautiful patterns which look stretched on the"neck" Sort of fish scale shaped with beading in between toward the bottom, nice scalloped top edges. And a flower or star type pattern on the bottom. Some mistake this for Fostoria's heirloom pattern. But it is actually the Frisco pattern which was produced by Fostoria Glass Co. It measures 12" at its tallest point. By 3 1/4" across the top opening, by approximately 3 1/4” across its base. It is in in very good condition, and has no chips, cracks, or damage. Just a few small light surface scratches which are barely worth mentioning in my opinion. Bright spots are only light reflections. Beautiful piece for use or a collection! The blue and green necklace has high quality czech beads which measure a hair under 1/2" not perfectly round and have brass caps and amber colored spacer beads. Has a barrel screw clasp. Measures 16" long and is in excellent condition. The clear crystal necklace has beautifully cut crystal beads with Peking green colored spacer beads. The beads graduate with the center bead measuring just over 1/2" and the smallest near the clasp is 3/8" The beads are strung on a silver chain the the filigree clasp is sterling silver.
