Description Multi facet round cut beads with gold filled small spacer’s between with a gold filled clasp and chain that is it strung on. Marked only Germany on the tiny ring where the clasp would clasp to. Not marked gold filled or G.F. but after cleaning the necklace with a special cleaner we used, the gold got brighter and not dull. It is in very good condition for the age of it however there are tiny chipping on the larger beads, barely noticeable and only seen this looking through a magnifier, it is a 17 inch necklace which is very unusual for today’s time and being Pre-WWII is not unusual, bead sizes range from 5mm’s to 14mm’s. Vintage VENDOME Three Strand Beaded Necklace Set Beautiful Art Glass Beads! Vintage Vendome three strand beaded necklace set with matching earrings. The majority of the beads are some shade of pink and there are beautiful pink art glass'drizzle' beads with spots of green. All the crystal beads are multi-faceted. The larger ones have filigree end caps. The largest pink crystal is 7/8" long. The total wearable length is 20 1/2" and can be made shorter with a 2 1/2" extender. Vendome is impressed into the hook clasp. This one has a flower on the hook which points to the high end of Vendome jewelry. The clips earrings mimic the necklace with a nice variety of beads all attached with prong set rhinestone head pins. They are hallmarked Vendome on the adjustable clips and measure 1 1/4" tall. Anniversary 3 Legged Open Comport Crystal Color Gold Beaded Rim Jeannette Glass
My reference book tells me this ANNIVERSARY pattern was manufactured by Jeannette Glass Company from"1947- 1949; Late 1960s- mid 1970s" The color of this piece is listed as"crystal" aka clear) The piece stands about 2 5/8 inches high and is about 5 13/16 inches across the top. The rim of the"bowl" is beaded(small beads) with gold accent. Portions of the gilding shows some wear. The"book" says this is"3 legged" others may say 3 footed? I hope my pictures give a"clear picture" of the design. Footless legs and all. It is only logical to assume the piece has been used. I found no chips. Flakes, cracks or"bites" on the piece. Rare Crystal Glass IMPERIAL ca 1930s FOOTED PUNCH BOWL & 12 CUPS Beaded Ball rim
This is a ultra rare item. This is a hiqh quality formula glass for the period and a rare pattern made by the IMPERIAL Glass co. in the 1930s. The Punch Bowl is Footed with a gorgeous collar of Ball beading around the bottom. The beaded wavy rim is elegant! Comes with 12 matching cups, these cups are much nicer than punch cups were usually made at this time- the crystal is very thick and clear, with a heavy feel and matching thick collar base of Ball beading. The ladle is plastic. Bowl measures 8.5" tall. 12" wide top rim. cup is 2-7/8" tall by 3-1/8" wide top rim. The glass appears to high quality produced glass for this era. It is smooth and clear with a thick quality look to it. The sides of the rim and base collar decoration do match well with Imperial's Candlewick pattern. There is a lovely ring of raised beads/dots ... morealong the bottom of the bowl for added quality beauty right before it meets the highly ornate. No chips or cracks or damage. Crystal Candlewick Beaded Handle Creamer and Sugar Bowl by Imperial Glass Co.
The"Elegant" Candlewick glass pattern. Also known as Line#400, was produced by the Imperial Glass Company from 1936 to 1984 according to my reference books. I believe Candlewick to be one of the more interesting patterns to collect due to the wide variety of pieces that may be found. Add to the the attractiveness of the pattern. This crystal Creamer and Sugar"set" I believe to be the"Sugar, 6 oz. bead hdld. 400/30" and the"Creamer, 6 oz. bead handle, 400/30" primarily because the creamer holds 6 ounces and the sugar holds just a bit under 6 ounces(of water) when filled to the brim. I could be wrong as they made a variety of creamers and sugars, wouldn't be the first time. I don't recall when or where we collected these pieces but it was quite some time ago; used as display only by us. The Creamer ... morestands about 3 5/8 inches high at the highest point(spout) and is about 3 1/8 inches wide side to side. Measured from end of spout to back of handle it is about 4 1/2 inches"long" It has a circular base about 1 3/4 inches in diameter. The sugar bowl stands about 3 1/8 inches high and is about 3 1/8 inches in diameter at the top. When measured end of handle to end of handle it is about 5 inches"long" The circular base is about 1 3/inches in diameter. Wonder if anyone actually reads these measurements? Both pieces are in very good condition. I found no chips. Flakes, cracks or"bites" on either piece. I did note a tiny"bubble" in the glass towards the bottom of the sugar bowl. I found a very tiny bit of extra glass, a very thin"ridge" on the inside of the rim running strait down about 1/16 of an inch; I found it's"twin" about an inch away, same characteristics. The two strand necklace is made of emerald and sapphire colored aspirin beads each with an aurora borealis finish on one side. Small faceted aspirin beads separate all the larger beads. The small beads have a gold finish on one side and a very light topaz on the other. The total wearable length is 18" and has a 3" extender so you can make the necklace shorter if you wish. The beads are strung on a fine chain. So typical of Hobe. Hobe is imprinted in the metal on the underside of the necklace brackets. The clip earrings emulate the necklace.
