The bodies are also clear with a beaded accent in the center. The large bobeche has 12 pin holes. This fabulous fully beaded belt will dress up any outfit from jeans to silk. It is 1 3/4" wide with an adjustable length of 30" to 43" and anything in between as it has an ample 13" long extension chain also made entirely from seed beads. The belt is a turquoise blue/aqua color in transparent glass beads. A combination of seed and bugle beads were used to form the diamond shaped pattern down the middle and swags along the edges. The chain dangles as an adornment when worn at the waist. Or the extension can be utilized to convert this to a hip belt. In excellent condition. This is an antique 1940's purse covered in midnight blue carnival glass beads. The beads are iridescent and sparkle in the light. The inside of the purse is lined in blue fabric. Antique pen shown in photo. Not included. There are open pockets on each side with smaller pockets inside those. This purse is popular with collectors as well as the fashion conscious. Measurements are 10" across. 6" tall, 3 1/2" wide. The beaded handle has a 5 1/2" drop. The beading is all intact and in excellent condition. I have found only a few missing beads and it is a little dusty so it could use a proper cleaning. The inside of the lid had some kind of flexible mirror that has deteriorated as seen in our close-up photo's both above and below. Here I have a vintage. Pre 1940's, Westmoreland Glass sea creature( dolphins) footed bowl. The design is called Argonaut with 3 of these dolphins forming the footed base. Decorated with a beaded edge and different shells draped in the middle and a row of shells around the beaded top. All that in a beautiful Caribbean blue Now That is poetic justice! Originally this piece came with a dome shaped lid. Also with shell decorations, no dolphins. Would serve perfectly well as an open top candy dish or a catch all bowl in the kitchen, office or dresser top as a jewelry dish. Would also look charming holding a bar of soap in the bathroom as long as it was a baby/young child proof bathroom. Not a safe match to have glass in the bath with young ones. I see the clasp ring has"Made Czechoslovakia" in raised lettering on it. I have lightly cleaned the necklace but the brass type metal would clean up if preferred.
