Here is a stunning evening bag made in France for I. Magnin. It belonged to my great aunt but I'm not quite sure of the date. It is truly lovely and seems in very fine vintage condition. The last photo shows the only minor issues I can see- 2 small chips to the enamel in one corner. What looks like a small bit of silver soldering at one end of the gold metal snake chain, and a few loose threads. There is also a small smudge on the lining, which otherwise looks in unused condition. The bag weighs 8.65 ounces and measures about 5 by 7 1/2 inches with a 4" strap drop. The frame is exquisitely detailed and the clasp works well. Please look carefully at the photos.
