My mannequin has a small head(20 1/2" so this almost fits over her head like a fez, and her head pushes the top"knot" up, as shown. For your bidding consideration today. We have an antique Victorian black lace bodice. The entire piece is made of black lace, over black fabric, and is fully lined. It has a hook closure in the front, and a hook closure at the neckband. There is a light blue piece under the lace at the neck. The lace in the front has an extra drape on both sides of the hooks, and there is beads and sequins at the waist. The long sleeves have a band of the same sequin and lace above a ruffle, then tapers to a fitted wrist. The lining is cotton and there are stays sewn into the bodice. The bodice is in good condition for its age, especially for lace, but it does have some age flaws. There are som breaks or holes in the lace in the armpits, the sleeves, and a few places where it has come unsewn. There is also some breaks in the fabric under the lace in the armpits, ... morebut not the lining, so the holes do not go all the way through. There are missing beads and sequins, wear in the fabric near the hooks, and just general age related wear. Still a fairly sturdy piece, and very displayable.
