Venetian red and black glass beads with white“eye” dots. Actually a couple of the red beads on this string look more like flowers than eyes. But they are lovely none-the-less. There are 25 red beads on white cores, and four black beads on black cores. They run about 8– 10 millimeters long. The carved Black Onyx gemstone beads are 12mm's(+ or- and about 10mm's in diameter. The vintage brass accent beads at the back are 7mm's and 5mm's in diameter. WEIGHT: the total weight is 91.2 grams- the base material of the cinnabar/ cloisonné beads is copper metal so the weight and feel of the necklace is substantial. There are 98 Red with yellow swirled NATURAL CORAL trade beads plus 6 black feathered Venetian NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN FUR Trade beads. As you can see. The red coral is exceptionally beautiful and along with the old black, green and red barrel shaped fur trade beads, they make a beautiful marriage.
