Im glad to be able to offer you this antique Syrian Pierced Brass Lamp! This one has very ornate detail in the pierced brass. Possibly even writing on the pierced lamp shade if you look closely. The original beaded finials are present even though some are just barely hanging on. Most of these lamps found are gaudy large in size. But this one stands only 2 feet tall& the shade doesn't have a huge diameter either. Its more of a petite style which I think would be more functional. The cord appears to be a newer replacement. This is a beautifully detailed vintage hand beaded purse on a silky beige fabric background. The beads are tiny white and copper/brass color. The frame is exquisite with brass rosettes. Bezel set jewels and kissing clasp. The handle is brass chain. There is a slat pocket inside the purse that holds the original mirror in a bifold. The lining is very clean with no tips or holes. After close examination of the exterior. Wear to the fabric is visible. It does not detract from the piece as the design takes precedence. The purse measures 6" x 5 1/2" and the chain is 6" long. On auction is a lovely pair of antique blue stone sterling silver fine crafted dangle earrings. The trim around the stone is hand worked beaded silver design with a twirled loop with a small 3 cluster silver ball type center at the top. Newer versions do not have this unique look. They are marked 925 for sterling silver and if there was a jeweler's mark it has worn off. I am not a jeweler so I cannot say what type of stones are in the earrings. But they are charming. Antique Amber glass pin ornate beaded brooch pin made European handcrafted
On auction is a lovely highly detailed amber glass brooch that is 1 1/2" wide and 1" tall. I have found after researching the meaning of various materials used. Amber glass was popular for brooches in the Victorian period. It looks like faux pearl ropes around the stone. That are partly cream and partly clear, probably a finish worn down over the years. There is a rope of silver color trim, and a rope of what looks like gold plated trim on the outer edge. There is a small plate on the back with Made in Western Germany that looks hand written into the metal. It has some substance that looks like very old glue near the plate,although it does not appear to have been repaired. It has a charming vintage appearance. I took high definition photos in various lighting types. A very nice brooch. Or scarf and coat pin at a low starting price.

There are three flowers on the front of the vase with various shades of purple. Pink, and reddish-orange. It also has beautifully painted leaves in both green shades and brown. The item measures approximately 9-1/2" tall and 3" wide at the base. The base shows some wear probably from being displayed. There is one small area towards the base which looks to be a small straight crack near the gold band- please refer to picture#10. This is not noticeable to me ... morewhen displayed. Very ornate hand embroidered beaded needlepoint tapestry made in Thailand. it is crafted completely by hand out of many different materials and done with an abundance of very intricate detailing. it depicts a large embellished elephant in the center with a figure at the top riding him. the figures are stuffed with a material inside so are very heavily embossed like pillows. the rest of the tapestry is exquisitely executed with great patterns and design. it is made out of stones. Gorgeous French Steel Beaded Deco Purse- Ornate Brass Frame & Original Lining
This auction is for a good-sized purse in colored French cut steel beads. It has a beautiful ornate floral frame and its original chain carrying strap. Its motif is an early deco motif. In pale teals and oranges, outlined in dark brown and all on a dark gold background. It is 10 1/2 inches long from the top of the frame to its scalloped lower edge; the fringe adds another 1 1/2 inches. It is `7 1/2 inches wide. Please see photos. It still has its presumably original gold silk lining with its leaves and flowers ribbon trim. The silk lining is just beginning to shatter. the beadwork is in extremely tiny beads- a couple to the millimeter and is in excellent condition with the usual exception- below the hinge where a few threads have broken. Ornate Antique Bronze Finish 2-Light Wall Sconce w/ Beaded Fabric Shades
This is a beautiful large ornate wall mount light fixture with 2 candelabra style lights. The finish is similar to an antiqued bronze color- I have included several close up photos so you can see the ornate details and finish. The two'arm' pieces that come from the center piece have a small amount of swivel in them to allow for slight adjustments once it is installed. The two shades are a creamy ivory color with amber colored beading on the bottom and a white lining on the inside. The shades have clips that go over the candelabra-type bulbs. Both shades are in good condition with the exception of a few small spots as shown in the close up photos. The bulbs were working when we took this down. But they not be any good now. I will include them so you can see what size to purchase. The length of this fixture is approximately 16 1/2 inches ... morewith the bulb and shade installed. With the measurement from the top of the shade to the end of the small decorative piece at the bottom of the fixture. It extends(juts out) from the wall about 12 inches. The width is about 12 inches from side to side at the widest point. This is in excellent condition. Works fine, and includes all items shown in the photos. This auction is for a very old two sided hand held mirror. The two mirrors are held together and encircled by a brass circle. There is a decorative brass connector for the mirror and glass handle. It is decorated with hearts. The glass handled is made of beaded clear glass. I believe the glass is EAPG. Early American Pressed Glass. The mirror is showing its age. One side looks good only a few scratches. The other side, the magnified side shows some loss of silvering. Mirror size is 3-3/4" diameter. Overall length is 8-3/8" Circa 1920.

This is a lovely bag made with colorful glass beads in a woven pattern on mesh. There is a similar bag shown on pages 69& 81 of"Handbags" by Roseann Ettinger. 1991. The 2" wide ornate steel frame is set with 2 faceted green glass beads. The 14" handle is also beaded. It measures 5 1/2" wide at its widest point x 4 1/2' tall. When I got this bag there were many loose and missing beads. I was able to purchase matching vintage beads and put it back together. I tightened loose beads and the mesh has been backed to strengthen the threads on the beads. The black silk lining is new. I dropped it a couple of times to make sure that there were no loose beads. There varying sizes of beads from seed beads to flat round center beads and pointed beads each meticulously hand stitched onto the lace with amazing detailing. The piece measures 45-inches long by 2-1/4 inches wide at the widest point. Looking at the beads up close. It appears the seed beads are very irregular and really look like jet.The la ce has been stitched onto a piece of peach colored satin. Condition: The lace looks used. A metal chain, and an attached stylus. The stylus still has lead. And the top turns to push out more lead. Bag is lined with orange fabric. It measures about 5.25" long x 5.5" tall(when empty) It comes with a note from its original owner. Giving a brief history of the purse: My dad gave me this evening bag when I was about 15-1923 era. I was so proud of it-carried it everywhere as my night life was nil those days. Bag is missing no beads. And has only a small amount of wear on the filigree frame.

This Art Deco hand faceted Cherry Amber Necklace is absolutely lovely. It has a very sophisticated design and its quality is a valued trait. The alternating round and oval beads at the front of the necklace echo the design of the exquisite pendant. The beaded pendant is topped with a flower shaped disk that is inset with cut crystals. Ornate brass bead caps flank the other beads. The circumference of the large round bead at the pendant's center is 1 3/4 inches. The color of the necklace is a rich and deep burgundy red. Lighting for detail often saps color from its subjects although it does a great job of highlighting features. Such as the incredible hand faceting on the beads. It is made of tiny gold& silver beads that appear to be cut steel beads in a fancy pattern. There is a wonderful gold metal ornate clasp& frame with peach lining& a small pocket. The Tag inside says"Import French Steel" there is braiding inside sewn on the lining. The purse measures 6 1/4" long. Not including the fringe, and 4 3/4" wide. The Fringe measure 3 1/4" at the longest point. It has a 12" chain on the top. This lovely Flapper Bag is in wonderful condition for it's age. There are some flaws, which I have shown in the pictures. In the back, there are two areas where the purse is coming apart.
