GOLD BRONZE AND SILVER MICRO BEADS MAKE UP THIS BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE FRENCH FLAPPER HANDBAG! This listing is for an antique gold. Bronze and silver micro beaded metal bag with a double chain strap. It has a geometric design on it and a bronze bead fringe at the bottom. The frame has a pattern of tiny flowers and leaves, very ornate. It is from the Art Deco period. The bag measures 10 1/2" by 6" including the fringe. There aren't any beads missing on the body of the bag but it is starting to separate at the hinge on both sides. The fringe at the bottom is in good shape with the exception of three fringes are missing. The inside of the purse has no lining. The inside of the frame is clearly marked MADE IN FRANCE. The metal frame is an antique gold color and the plating is worn. The clasp works and is complete and holds tight. The ... morechain is in good condition except for the plating. Here we have a Vintage Original Antique lot of 3 Purses/ Change Purses. 2 are enameled mesh and one is beaded. All are vintage original. 1st is the White beaded purse that measures 4 x 3 1/2 inches. Tag inside reads" made in France" Shows some age and one starnd of beads is loose as shown in picture. Has no inside tears. 2nd is a metal mesh with Red color running through and fringes at bottom, measures 4 1/2 x 4 inches. Small seporation at hinges and 1 small seperation in mesh. I see no maker stamped on it. 3rd is a smaller enamel mesh purse that measures 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. Has a White and Green Enamel pattern. Has the common seperation at both hinges, otherwise ok. This pretty cut steel beaded purse has a gold background with pink rose buds and white daisies on both sides. Beautiful art nouveau frame with a push-down floral latch which works well. Marked on the inside of the frame as shown: Made in France" includes the original mirror. The purse measures 6 3/4" wide; 10 1/2" long with an additional 1 1/8" fringe; the chain measures 8" long if doubled. Or 14" long if you slide it through to it's full length. This is a wonderful looking evening purse/ pocketbook/ clutch- that was manufactured by Longchamps in France. I do not know when. But based on family history if has to date from the mid 1930s to the mid 1950s. The purse measures 5 3/4" across at the bottom and 4" wide at the opening. It is 4" top to bottom. The entire exterior is covered with intricate hand stitched bead work, using tiny white, ivory and pink colored beads. There are no loose threads, but it appears there are 3-4 beads missing along the edge of the flap( photo#1- left of center) some beads may be missing from the side edge near the bottom right; and 2 beads are missing from the side edge near the bottom left. In addition, fine hand embroidery complements the beadwork. Embroidery exists on the flap and in the diagonal pattern that outlines the shape of the purse. ... moreThe flap closure is a bronze colored snap. The interior is nicely lined with fabric and is undamaged except for some light pink marks which are likely from a lipstick. The time that went into the beadwork and embroidery would make producing something like this cost prohibitive today.

Small Vintage Hand Made Black/Silver Beaded Purse-Made in France
This is a very pretty small hand made beaded purse that was made in France. The main color is black with contrast colors of silver and a steel gray in a floral and leaf design. There is a flower and leaves on the flap and leaves along the bottom. No design on the back. It has a label inside stating"Made in France-Hand Made" It also has a beaded hand handle on the back for carrying. Very chic. It measures approximately 6" wide and 4" tall when closed. It is in good condition. This is a old black suede clutch purse. The purse has a black metallic beads on the front. The purse has 2 layers and white sateen fabric lining. The lining is has some black smudge spots all over. No rips or holes. The first layer has one large pocket. Inside of the second layer are different compartments. On the back side is small wallet type compartment that splits in 2 when is open. The one side is marked with gold color" Made in France" On the opposite side are 2 elastic type compartment. The elastic is still in god shape. On the left side is a mirror. This little purse is so sweet! The background of the purse is in black bugle beads. With flowers done in white beads, and what looks like tiny champagne pearls at the centers of the flowers. The inner tag says, Made in France" The beading completely covers the outside if the purse. The floral pattern accentuates the trapezoidal shape of the purse. There is a snap closure(probably brass) and the lining is taffeta(probably silk) The purse is ~ 7" in length and 4" in height. It is so stunning!

Pale blue and pink flowers. The flowers are more plentiful on the front yet do carry over onto the back. Black and white[may have been pale blue and pink but faded? beads swirl on the lock and twist across the top of the frame. The black satin lining looks to be in great shape: There’s a pocket on the inside, and a label with‘Made In France, Hand Made’ in white on it. The lining is tacked onto the frame. Disclosure: 1) The lock is fatigued; it won’t snap shut. All the parts are there so perhaps just bending the curl down might realign it with the‘button’ side? and. 2) on the bottom, a third of the way across, at a ribbed or raised dart, there’s a pull-away ... morehole, very small. I think it may just need to be stitched back. No beads appear to be missing. Please see photo with red arrows. The original price tag is on the chain: $250. I can’t tell if the price was originally changed by the tag seller or the previous buyer. Size: 9 inches(approx. across the bottom front. 5 3/8 inches from frame top to bottom. 6.25 inches across the frame. I do not know anything about the history of this purse other than I’m selling it for a dear old friend. Now 90. If I have overlooked something. I am very sorry. Nothing intentional! The sides are the same and both sides are shown in the pictures. The frame opens and shuts with a snap and it's stamped: Made in France. The chain handle has some rust and it appears to be a later add on as shown in photo#5. While the purse does not appear to be missing any beads there are several rough areas as shown in photo#6.
