Antique Wooden Beaded Rosary made in France
This is an antique Rosary made in France. Wooden beads. The rosary bead chain is approx. 24 inches all the way around to the medallion. The medallion has Jesus on one side and Mary on the other. The part holding the cross is approx. 6 inches including the cross. The cross is approx. 1.75 inches tall. The main part of cross is wooden and I do not know what metal is on it for sure. The metal is on the back with an opening in a cross shape and wrapped around to the front edges of the cross. The Jesus on the cross is a different metal entirely. There is a small metal tag above the cross also printed Made in France. This is in beautiful condition and really old. It belonged to my great grandma who was born in the late 1800's. Here is a lovely gab that still has the original label sewn inside that reads"Metra Bag Works Handmade in Paris France" The lining is torn in multiple places as you can see from the photos. The outside of the bag is in good condition. The fringe along the bottom is missing on about 1/3 the length of the bottom as you can see in the photos. They can be removed altogether or replaced if you are handy with a needle and thread. I've placed a small piece of tape on the end of the fringe to stop any more beads from falling off. This bag measures approximately 5 3/4 inches tall by 5 1/8 inches wide. Not including the fringe. The double chain measures approximately 6 inches long or you can lengthen it by pulling on one chain to make about 10 inches long. This is a french bustier from the 1980s in a size 32-A that has bones inside to maintain its integrity and a layer of very thin material covered with iridescent beading on top and on the straps that is oh la la magnifique! Lying flat, the waist is 22" un-stretched and comfortably stretches to 26" on a normal fit: The bust is 32" when also comfortably stretched and closed with eye-hooks in the back. Each strap is 17.5" in length and anchored firmly to the front and back. If it fit me, I'd wear it all the time… a very pretty and sexy bustier, purchased"used" and sold'as is. There are evident or obvious wear- or age-related damages, and all of the beading appears intact.

A baguette bead is used for most of the design and a round bead is used to make a bow design on the inside of the baguette beads. Art Deco Beaded Purse Made in France Gold and Silver micro beads NEEDS REPAIR
This bag has been in the family for decades! It shows it's age and is in desperate need of repair. Or just to frame on the wall. The purse is made of silver and gold colored micro beads. There is an interesting art deco pattern in the beads. The handle was made in France and has a stamp on the inside that states that. The handle was chain. But has lost part of it's chain links over the years. The purse has a beaded fringe on the bottom as well. The lining on the purse is cotton and it's an off-white color. The thread used to attach the lining to the handle was a gold heavy silk thread. The purse needs a lot of repair. There are multiple rips in the sides of the beaded outside. There are also tears in the lining. The fringed bottom has some loose strings hanging. Please see the photos to see the extent of the repairs needed. This is a wonderful Walborg Evening bag. The tag states"handmade in France' Which may put the date of this wonderful piece of history as early as the 1920's. The purse is in very good condition. The clasp works well, and the chain is secure with no kinks. On the front of the bag there are a few missing beads to the left of the clasp, and a few missing from the clasps. The back of the bag has some staining, but appears much more pronounced in the photos than in person. The front looks beautiful. The inside of the bag is done in a lovely ivory satin and has the original tag sewn onto a small side pocket. There is a small water stain near the lower corner of the pocket. Blue Stones on Beaded Body, France Maker: Unknown Hallmarks: Stamped“MADE IN FRANCE” on the inside(photo#10) Pattern: Gold beads fill the background and silver beads run diagonal across the body. Groups of bright blue stones set in silver‘cups’ are attached in groups of three between the diagonal lines. A magnet tells me that the gold beads are glass and the silver beads are cut steel. The loop fringe is made up of the same beads. The frame is gold-tone and has a light chased pattern. The bag opens with a kiss lock that works just fine and has more bright blue stones on its tips; the sides line up perfectly when closed. Size: M easures 14” from the top of the handle to the bottom of the fringe– ... morewhich is 1-1/4” long. The width at the frame is 5-1/2” and just where the fringe begins is 6” wide. Has a gorgeous paperclip chain handle with a drop of 6-1/2” There are 22 beads per inch on this bag. Very lovely petite vintage beaded evening bag by Duizend Gans of Paris. Red. Green and clear beads on a deep gold brocade( fabric(darker/deeper gold than in photos) Brass( frame with kiss clasp set with red stones. Delicate chain strap. Zipper compartment on bottom side. Gold satin lining stamped with maker and Paris address. Beading is in very good condition, there might be a missing bead here and there but it is not apparent. Fabric is in excellent condition, there is one short loose thread in an upper corner but I believe it could be safely snipped. The frame is in very good condition but does not meet on one side. Because the clasp closes tight, I don't think the frame is an issue. Chain is very good and intact. The lining is free of spots/stains except for a few small ones on one side, see photo. I do not know the age of this purse but put it under Edwardian category. May be older or newer. Tag inside reads Paris Renald 15 Rue Vignon. It is impossible to see how gorgeous this is in pics. Look at them to see the condition which is very good but remember this is antique/vintage and will not look like new- I added a pic that shows a small decorative metal piece that has come loose and is hanging by threads.not a bead and I put it under the fold when taking other pics. Maybe some soiling from time but this looks like it has been used very little if any. The metal handle and top frame may have some discoloration but not sure- it looks good. There are faux pearls the frame and ... morearound one pearl it has turned greenish. Will probably clean off(not sure) but I do not know how to do that. It is about 7" Measuring at the tallest point of the frame to the bottom of the purse.about 6 1/4" across at the widest point. Handle measuring the middle of it to where it meets the metal frame is about 2 1/2" a little bit of melting at the top of the lining.if I saw the rest it is not torn.but, I may not have seen all the way to the bottom. The chain adds another 4" Purse is covered in black and brown sequins and then trimmed in clear colored beads. Purse is in very good condition.
