This unusual Art Deco brass beaded bracelet is a testament to the artistry of Machine Age workmanship. The beads are locked together with a unique metal bar system that will keep them in their places virtually forever. Nonetheless. The beads are quite flexible and comfortable to wear. At the center of the bracelet is a huge domed Lucite amber bead that is set in a brass oval frame which is 1 3/8 inches high and 1 1/4 inches wide. The cabochon extends 5/8 of an inch beyond the base of its setting and has wonderful depth and range of color. The beaded portion of the bracelet is 3/4 of inch high and closes with its original hook clasp that can vary the bracelet length from 6.5 to 7.25 inches. The bracelet is in excellent condition. Offered is a very lovely swarovski cystal embedded table frame with jewel colors in pink. Green and light blue which are highlighted between rows of beaded brass gilt framework. The crystals almost resemble rhinestones as they are"set" in a reticulated framework. The reticulation accents the light shining through the pretty colored crystals for a real shine! Entire frame measures about 7 x 5-3/4" and the opening for your photo measures 4 x 6. The Marie Antoinette print inside makes the frame look more authentic antique. Super cool antique brass art deco table lamp 1920s* This is a really nice antique brass art deco table lamp which stands 17 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches wide at the base. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a pretty aqua blue glass bead pull on the end of the chain. The pretty embossed shade has blueberry color bakelite beaded fringe trim done in a chevron style. The column is thick twisted brass with embossed ivy decoration. The lamp has a gold finish on some areas. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the beads end. Hello. Here is a nice vintage honeysuckle coin dot lamp made by Fenton. This lamp is 29 1/2" tall with the shade on. It is 22 1/2" tall from the base to the top of the socket. The coin dot ball is 6 1/2" wide and the base is 5 1/2" wide. This lamp has a nice antique brass finish which is very detailed. The brass is on the base, inbetween the wood and the glass ball and above the ball. The wood has dark cut outs. There is a three way switch and the cord is good shape. It has been tested and works fine. The shade is beige with a nice scroll design and has a satin interior. It is 12" tall(not including the beads) and is 13 1/2" wide. Antique Cut Beaded Purse W Pressed Brass Fittings Velvet Interior Chatelaine
ANTIQUE BLACK CUT BEAD CHATELAINE PURSE IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION Fantastic condition on this old cut beaded purse. Collectors look carefully before you pass it by. The purse measures 4 1/2 inches tall x 3 inches wide, NOT including the chain. I am not an expert, but think the beads are metal, perhaps steel, and they are definitely cut on four sides then come to a point at the top. Some areas of the purse show spots on the beads that have oxidized a little bit. In person the purse glitters, refracts the light very nicely. They are crocheted into a dark black purse, with a triple diamond pattern. Each side of the purse is identical. There are 3 loose beads at one corner of the purse, but the thread is not broken. The frame, is quality pressed brass, and all the original fittings are intact and in good working condition. The purse closes nice ... moreand tight. Inside the purse is old black(it is now brown) velvet, no rips or tears. The full length of the chain is 9 inches. Or 4 1/2 inches long on each side of the center ring. The presence of the center ring indicates this purse may have been made to hang chatelaine style. It is a really nice example of an antique purse. Nice Brass Beaded Finial ?? for Light Fixture #321
I think this maybe a finial. I'm not sure. It has a nice beaded edge around the wide part and interesting circles with triangle points decorating the hollow under the wide part. This is brass color not black as my scanner portrays it. Measures. 2 1/2" tall x 1 1/2" wide. Bottom hole is 3/8" threaded inside measurement. Top hole is not threaded and 1/2" Good condition. Aqua blue, and orange beads. There is a dragon face etched on both sides towards the top portion of the bottle. There are hand carved etchings on both sides. The panels are possible made out of ox bone or bone of a serpent or dragon on the ocean feeding. The bottle has a stopper with a sharpened spoon attached that is detachable. Since this is a vintage item, there are signs of age/wear. It appears to be all solid brass except the canopy may be plated white metal(it is quite heavy) It has two arms with sockets and the shade holders have holes with beads hanging from them. Both electrical sockets are marked" HUBBELL" and they both have acorn pulls chains. It measures approximately 12" long from the ceiling, down to the bottom of the beads x 12" across x 9 1/2" across the ceiling canopy x 5 1/8" wide(at the ceiling canopy) This fixture is in very good condition but the hanging beads were changed at one time, to plastic. There is only minor wear to the brass and there are tiny set screws along the edge of the canopy, but two are missing(one ... moreon each end) I see no dents or breaks to the brass. It has been re-wired, at some time in the past) and works fine. Both pull chains can turn it on or off. It throws a much prettier light then the photos show and has a terrific 1920's feel. This is an antique Victorian micro glass-beaded purse(or handbag) with an ornate pierced brass chain and handle. There are some areas where the beads are missing from over the years. Any loose beads found are included inside the purse. Also. There is one small rhinestone missing on the top opening. The purse is about 5" length not including the chain. The cloth lining seems to be original. I have done no restoration and everything is original as found. Would be perfect for the restorer of such intricate beaded purses. This matching pair of beaded doorknobs are two different sizes and in very good condition. There is some discoloration- most of it on the base plate of the large doorknob. Both knobs are very heavy brass and feel solid. The larger knob is 2 1/4" diameter and the smaller one is 1 3/8" diameter. Antique art deco table lamp Magenta beaded fringe shade c. 1920* This pretty antique art deco table lamp stands 17 inches tall and is 7 inches wide at the base. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a double cut crystal pull on the chain. The fancy pierced brass shade ring is decorated with magenta bakelite beaded fringe in a chevron pattern. The base is mostly brass with a circular copper foot in a border of crosses. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the beads end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot.
