I purchased this necklace for $150 from a well-respected antique jewelry dealer who told me it is from the late 1920s or early 1930s. The necklace is composed of nine(9) sizable pieces of black glass in graduated size separated by ten(10) black faceted glass beads. Eleven(11) round glass beads on each side complete the circle to the"gold" closure. The necklace measures approximately 18" end to end. This piece is in pristine condition and vintage jewelry expert Carole Tannenbaum of Toronto(whom I consulted in 2011) told me the necklace was worth every penny I paid for it. We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of antique glass lamps. The pair dates to the Art Deco period of the 1930s to 1940s. They feature clear glass. Round bases in elongated beaded design. The bodies are also clear with a beaded accent in the center. The large bobeche has 12 pin holes. The lamps each include 6 long, blue rain drop crystals(one in every other pinhole) This way allows you to see the lamp bodies but you can certainly add more crystals if you prefer. The shades feature frosted glass with clear raised relief pattern of grapes and vines. The tops are also clear with a scalloped border. Though a matched pair, one of the shades is a little"whiter" frosted than the other. You don't notice it unless the lamps are side by side. The lamps are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, etc. The shades are very nice ... moreas well with expected wear around the fitter area. Here is a pretty vintage Art Deco flapper satchel dance purse. Glass beaded, in a floral peacock design. The colors are a mix of vibrant pastels and royals. The lining is an off-white cotton, with a satin ruffle atop. There are two draw-string handle with attached guider jump rings. VERY LIGHT WEAR ON THE SATIN RUFFLE. A FEW BEADS ARE LOOSE OR MISSING ALONG THE TOP EDGE ON ONE SIDE, ONLY A FEW. The purse measures 8 7/8" long including the tassel. The dress appears to have been handmade with sewn on luscious clear bugle beads front and back. And clear rosettes with a grape faux pearl in every center. There is a inset sewn in to the front to make the dress look full in the front, it almost has the appearance of pleats but no pleats. I took a picture of the inset and the lightly stuffed bra insets which is also grape color. Flat measurements are: 20 1/2" ... morebust and 38" long. It looks like the hem has been raised on the dress to make it shorter, approx 1 1/2" as there is beads on the turn under hem of the dress. There also is a 13" side zipper.
