I think it was produced for decorative purposes. It is in lovely condition however, I want to note that there are some very small flea bites below the enameled rim, both inside and out. I would say they are not noticeable to the eye, but if you run your nail along the rim, you can feel them, they are very slight and in no way detract from the piece. Please see photos. Wow& Wow up for auction is a VARITY Blue Aqua Ball Mason Canning Jar. There are 3 or 4 different sizes. I think there are 2 1/2 gal, 2 Quarts and one that is in between. So it might be a 3 pint? One 1/2 gal is bullet shaped and so it looks smaller but I really think it is a 1/2 gal. on bottom of 1/2 gal are 6& 5, quart are 8& 9 or might be a 6. The in between jar has a#3. These all can be used for decorating, wedding or canisters. I have sold a lot in my shop but wanted to try ebay and see had that goes also. I have a used Turboflotor Skimmer for about 8 months on a 180 gallon moderately stocked fowlr. It kept my nitrates at 0 and I would only do 15 percent water changes to add the minerals back. It has a slight crack near the neck but not an essential piece. Pulled out lots of skimming and is perfect for sumpless tanks! I bought it for 500 on a online retail store. It has been recently cleaned out with half vinegar half water to get rid of the mineral buildup.

When I just took a picture to show the hole(which is intended to be there) in the bottom of the three footed vase I noticed this chip on the very bottom- in good conscience I had to mention it. This is a beautiful Vintage Shawnee Pottery Swan Planter that I am selling for someone who is downsizing. It measures approximately 5 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" long and is free of chips or cracks. Vtg Art Pottery Van Briggle Tulip Flower Bud Vase Candle Holder Matte Aqua Blue
Welcome to my auction for this lovely old piece of art pottery by Van Briggle of Colorado Springs. This is likely from the early teens through the 1930s. It is a very lovely vase with a matte blue glaze. It consists of of 3 tulips or cornucopia plus an opening in the center that a candle could be placed. You will find it i n very nice vintage condition with no chips. Cracks or crazing. It m easures approximately 4.7" tall and the same wide. It rests on three little legs and is signed on the underside of one of the legs. Please see the pictures attached for additional detail and email any questions you might have before bidding.
