For your consideration a rare vintage Rosenthal extra large Studio Linie decorated ceramic vase. Designed by Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad. A recent estate purchase in the Boston area. The condition is very good. It is white bisque porcelain clay. There are no chips. Cracks, or scratches. The vase is 17-5/8 inches in height. It is 6-5/8 inches in diameter at the flared rim and 4-3/4 diameter at the base. I believe the design is from the Fantasy series. This Red Abalone is a real beauty! It is is Haliotis rufescens. Renowned for it's lustrous Mother- of- Pearl. It was found in California's Monterey Bay area. This large shell measures 8 15/8" in length and is 6 1/2 inches wide, quite large for the species. It is in great shape- it wasn't left to the mercy of the ocean for long after death, and boring clams never colonized the shell. The red outer shell is nearly intact, which is rare, and has some bryozoans and tiny barnacles clustered in various places. This damaged beauty is Haliotis rufescens. The"red abalone" It was found in California's Monterey Bay area. These abalone are prized for their Mother of Pearl shells, and this one has a lot of that. There's a lot of material here to work with! This large shell measures 8 1/2" in length and is a bit over 7 inches wide, quite large for the species. It must have spent a lot of time in the water after death- the shell has been worn thin on that one end. Some boring clams have drilled a couple holes in the thin shell near the missing piece. Clear tumbled sea glass. This piece measures 2-7/8 inches long. 2-1/2 inches across, and 1/16 inch thick. It has a rounded edge and a curved shape. This piece could be used as a very large pendant. In a mosaic, or for a creative arts project. I could see it as a center piece for a wind chime project. Please note that all of my tumbled sea glass is recycled. It comes from a farm"dump" site that was used from the late 1800's until the early 1960's. Piece measures 9 inches x 1 1/2 inches x 3/16 inch thickness These are new pieces still with the red Starrett Oil Hardening mark. Two of them have a knife outlined in black on them on one side. There are spots of surface rust and a few light scuff marks. You should be able to grind this off. Nice lot of Starrett oil hardening stock. At the time of this listing. Coke Machine Sign Panel Vintage Metal Frame 29 1/2 Inches in Length. This is a top panel from a Coke machine. The sign is still in its frame from when it sat on a machine. It measures approximately 29 1/2 inches in length by 8 inches in width and 2 inches in depth. Overall the sign is in great condition. There are two small stars on the cover that are not very noticeable. But they can be seen in the pictures. This is the only really noticeable wear. This sign would be great for a man cave, Coke collector, or for parts in restoring a machine. I have even given thought of trying to wire a light to it.
