The cherub is holding a circular basket made of leaves and foliage upon his shoulders. He is attired in the greek style and sits upon a pedestal base. Decorated with swirls and flowing designs. The piece seems to have a type of flowing motion. The vase/planter is done in a matte-like smooth finish. It is reminicent of the greek urns and pottery in the more elegant decor of this period. Grecian Vase or Urn in Metallic Ceramic with Incized Images This Grecian style vase or urn stands 8" tall and appears to be made of metallic ceramic. Its finish is a dark green with copper undertones. Entirely hand-decorated with the image of an ancient Greek warrior on its front and the Greek Key motif around the base and just under the spout. This is a recent estate purchase of a gorgeous hand make handled base from Greece. This piece is done in s semi glossy black background and features a very elaborate applied and raised pattern of a long horn type deer figure that appears to be grazing. It also offers quite an elaborate design around the bulbous area which I have shown from the underside so you can see the design easier. The coloring of this applied pattern is a slightly off white or cream color which really stands out on this piece. This vase is about 7 1/2" wide and stands about 3 3/4" high. This beautiful vintage bottle once held'Metaxa Grande Fine' A Greek grape brandy specialty liqueur. It has a white undercoat, and is decorated with a lovely floral/vine design in red, green, and blue. Of course it is now empty! The label is still affixed to the front. Large 90X71 Jacquard Wool Greek Roman Warrior Vase Green Coverlet
I purchased this weaving at an estate sale and I do not know its history. I think that it might be old enough to be considered vintage. In my 25+ years of dealing various vintage and antique items. I do not remember seeing a similar weaving. I have been told that it is a Jacquard weaving. I think that probably right but I am not sure that it is. The pattern is somewhat raised or textured. The green feels and looks like wool. Also. I snipped a tiny amount of a loose end of the green yarn and burned it to discover that it smelled like wool and not at all synthetic when burned. So, I am saying that the green parts are wool. The white background that the green parts are on look like cotton to me but I am not absolutely sure that it is because I do not have a way to test it. The green wool feels kind of stiff or wiry and not soft but not brittle. ... moreIt measures close to 90 by 71 inches. The shape is a regular rectangle. I'm not sure what the best use of it might be. It might be a bed spread or a table covering or a throw. I think that it would impressive if hung on a wall. It does not feel stiff or heavy enough to be a rug although it does lie nice and flat. It weighs close to 8 pounds 6 ounces. Most of my photos are not showing its true shade of green. I altered the color in the photos showing the whole weaving to be fairly close to its actual color on my monitor which I think is pretty accurate. I would call the color of the green to be a kind of moderately dark spring green. It is definitely brighter than the majority of my photos are showing. I do not know where it was made. The warriors and the vases look Greek to me but I also think that they might be Roman. If I had to guess. I would guess that it was from Greece or Italy. I think that there is a good possibility that it is hand embroidered but I am not sure that it is. I see some irregularities in the embroidered in the form of knots on the surface of the design and a couple of loose ends that I believe are from it was made. One close-up shows one loose loop

Greek Pottery Vase and Ash Tray 24k Gold accents
I bought these at an antique roadshow. After cleaning them up they looked very pretty. This set of 4 pieces are hand made in Greece and are lined with 24k Gold accents. I am not sure how much they might be worth. They are likely made in the last 50 years or earlier. Some minor nicks on them. But not significant enough to pitch. They have a slight blue hue to them that the pictures might not show. Gold content has not been verified, but likely not significant enough to add major value, but enough to really make them shine. 2 vases and 2 ashtrays look simply stunning and are probably worth more as a set, but I am willing to sell seperately. They have amazing detail for being hand made. Can't find any more like them anywhere thus far.

Have never seen a piece similar to this one(with script writing on bottom) for sale. Has Greek warriors in combat with spears and shields. Has black applied handles and black banding lines around base and a wheat design on back. The mark on the bottom is in script: czecho slovakia 36" Which I believe means it was made in 1936. Loetz made glass from 1851 thru 1939. Great condition. Only minimal wear on bottom. Three layers: orange, clear and enameling designs. This piece of glass is much more striking and beautiful in person. The pictures do not do it justice. 7 1/8" tall; 6 3/8" wide; 3 3/4" diameter base; weighs 2 pounds.
