Dial and dial backing plate presumed ... moremanufactured by Seth Thomas in the U.S.A. The 5-3/4" diameter 12 hour dial with Roman numerals originally had a silvered finish; the finish is worn through to brass and there are only remnants of the painted lettering. The words. SETH THOMAS" are written on the dial between the 2 winding holes, although they are difficult to see. There is a slight 1/2" long crease/dent to the dial between the winding hole and the 11 o'clock position. The seconds register is just below the number XII with the slow/fast time regulator just above the XII; with the STRIKE on/off slot located at the 9 o'clock position. The brass plated steel movement support plate has 4 standoffs on the rear with which to attach a movement. The 3 holes line up for mounting it to the three case brackets. There are 6 holes in both the backing plate and the dial are in the same locations. Although the holes in the dial are are not the correct corresponding size; they are a smaller diameter. The case is brass with a nickel finish which is worn and has a light corrosion throughout. There are mounting holes located at the 4. 8 and 12 o'clock position. The hinged bezel has a flat spring latch which secure the bezel in the closed position. A couple of the screws are mismatched and there is a missing nut. The case measures 7" in diameter X 4" deep. The case has scratches and discoloration due to wear to the nickel plating. And a dent to the top side. The case has a perforated screen at the 6 o'clock position so that the sound of a strike might be heard. The glass which covers the dial area is in good condition. The inner nickel plated bezel has a great finish; although it has 3 bends to the lower lip at the 2. 4 and 6 o'clock positions; presumed from incorrect screw sizes installed in the past. Recently found here in Maine. A nice quality Chelsea Ship's Bell Clock within a bronzed case. Serial number 611.913 can be seen inside case. Measures 9" H; 8.5" W; dial 6" bezel about 7.25" Has been running good for 4 days now. Chimes once on half hour and twice on hour. Both case and dial are quite clean with only minimal wear and isolated light scratching. Overall a pretty good example. No out of country sale. Fully guaranteed as described. Vintage Chelsea Boston Brass Nautical Yacht Ships Wheel Bell Barometer Clock
I purchased this pair of Nautical items at an estate sale over the weekend. I am told they are made by the Chelsea clock company although all I see is Boston on each face. They weigh a heavy 12 pounds together and measure 9" across the wheel. They were on the previous owners yacht for many years. They both seem to be in working condition. I hear the clock ticking but will not guarantee how well they work. There are no returns on these items in"As is" condition. I have not taken them apart or done anything to them. Fantastic! Mid 1960's Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos Mantel Clock-Working! ITEM DESCRIPTION Offered here is a mint and fully functioning mid 1960's Jaeger LeCoultre*528-6* Atmos Round Dial Mantel Clock. Serial number 188,271. Note: Any reflections you see on the finish are just background and sun reflections and not wear. The mint 15 jewel Jaeger LeCoultre signed movement(528) has just been fully disassembled& cleaned. Adjusted and timed by me and is working very accurately, keeping great time. The bellows(dated'64) has just been checked and is in perfect working order. The round LeCoultre Swiss signed white painted dial, which has applied gold markers& numerals, is in mint condition as are the original gold hands. The rear bellows housing is in near mint condition with no scratches, spotting(there are 4 small dots on the left ... moreside) damage or cracks. The original 24k gold plated finish on the exterior is in perfect condition with no plating wear, scratches or notable damage whatsoever. There are no stress cracks on the base. All of the glass panels are clean with no chipping or scratches and the entire top, which is secured by two side pins, comes on and off without any problems. There are two little specs of paint on the back glass, which have been removed. The important leveling bubble in the front base is fine and functions properly. I've owned, restored and have sold quite a few of these beautiful Atmos clocks and this a beautiful round dialed example that anyone would be proud to display in their home. Up for auction Chauncey Jerome ojee wall Clock. The Chauncey Jerome Clock Company was one of the largest makers of clocks and then went out of business and was taken over by the New Haven Clock Co. The clock is in good running condition. Clock is complete including it's front glass which is full of air bubbles which is seen in the glass. One of the weights has been replaced and the other is the original weight. The cabinet is partly constructed with bird's eye maple. Clock is over 100 years old. The paper sticker located inside the back of the clock is still mostly in tact and readable. The bob has a few bangs on it's surface. Clock measures 25.5" high. 15.25" wide and 4.5" deep. The clock's faceplate may have been changed some time in the past as there are 3 wind holes in the face plate but only 2 of the holes ... moreare used to wind the clock& it's gong. I am not an expert on watches but I will try to tell you any flaws that I can see and if the watch runs or not. I am selling these watches as found. As is. The movement is marked Bigelow, Kennard Co Boston 39681. This does have the crystal. It is in the original case. marked SWISS with the same number as the movement. 39681. I am not sure what the case is made of. a white metal? It is in good condition. There is some wear. scratches near the thumbnail on the dust ... morecover and lighter general wear to the case. The clock does need to be repaired or restored as the mainspring slips when you wind it and the balance spring is bent. The balance itself works fine as does the rest of train. I noticed when I checked to set the time the second hand began to move, this is why I am sure the only repairs needed are the mainspring and a new or fixed balance spring.

Antique automobile keyless rim wind clock by Phinney Walker patented in 1912. Condition of the case seems very nice for the age. There are a few light scratches on the glass but they aren't very noticeable. The rim winder is to tight to turn but if you take off the glass and apply very light pressure to the minute hand as if to move it clockwise. The clock ticks and the second hand moves. The face measures about 3" across and the height is about 2 3/4" There are 2 screws missing from the face and 1 from the back. I have not had it apart.

The face has beveled glass over a silver background with black numbers and reads"Waltham 8 Days" The smaller second dial is missing it's hand. the back panel twists off easily and beneath on the interior it reads"Waltham Watch Co U.S.A. 8 Days" and the serial number"25165417" The gear that can be seen moves freely. This is a top wind clock that would have gone in an automobile. Oldsmobile had offered a Swiss made MAAR unit that mounted below center on a specially designed steering wheel and a special horn ring. This was available from 1951-52 and operated much the same way as the early Benrus. With one major difference the winding mechanism on the Maar unit worked with forward and back movements also(acceleration and braking) along with rotation of the steering wheel. The winding mechanisms also had small plastic windows were the operation of the unit could be viewed. One of the most unblemished crystal AND faces I've seen on a MAAR. Vintage 1940 Waltham 8 Day Premier Travel Clock Excellent Case
This auction is for a very nice 8 day Waltham Travel clock. It is missing the glass on the face though and the face of the clock needs to be cleaned. Clock runs great inside and outside the case and keeps good time. It is marked Waltham inside with the number 30623001 and is very clean inside. I believe this was made in 1940-41. Waltham 8 Day Dashboard Clock
This Dashboard 8 day windup watch came out of a 1928 Cole Automobile. It still works! I couldn't believe it myself. Anyways. The pictures speak for themselves. In the picture where it shows the hinges please note that there is a crack in it. It still opens and closes but sometime in the future it needs to be repaired.
