The clock is in decent condition with no noticable plate loss to the base. The suspension spring is intact and is still useable. The face plate is clean and the dome glass is free from any major defects. There does appear to be a bracket missing that retains the pendulum for transport. I have cleaned and polished the base and I have started to set the clock into beat and did get the clock to run for a couple of hours before it stopped. If a little more time was spent on it I am sure that it can be put into the correct beat. However. Mid Century Modern Schatz Hanging Wall Clock Brass Pendulum runs on C Battery
Hello Collector, Thank you for stopping here to view this auction. In this listing I have an unique wall clock. It was manufactured by"Schaltz" Elexacta is the name of the clock I believe. These words are marked on the face. The clock is made of all metal. Most of it being brass. There's a triangle shaped metal wall piece that has two nail like pins in it. These are for mounting the plate to a wall. On the front of the plate there's a small arm in the center with two small brass cups. I guess this would be a good name for them. Also a brass chain hangs down with a small pointed pendulum at the end of the chain. The Clock face also has two of these brass cups with thin pointed pins or rods up inside of them. This is how the clock was made to hang. Lining up the two small cups on the wall mounted plate and the two at the bottom ... moreof the clocks face. The clock then is balanced resting on the two pins. Now mounted to the face are two flat thin pieces of metal that join together as one by a brass fitting. At the bottom of this a adjustable teardrop shaped Pendulum. It is also solid brass and is heavy. The Face of the clock has been painted with fired on enamel that is ivory in color with bronze highlights around the face. More bronze paint was used in the center for a flower like design. The numbers are Roman and are in gold. Same for the hands. Black and brass curled metal outline the face for decoration. The clock has a movement in the back that uses a"C" size battery. It keeps perfect time. The clock does swing back and forth when balanced the right way. I'm not sure how to set it to do this so it keeps swinging. It never losses time. On the face it is also marked MADE IN GERMANY in really small letters. The size is 21" long and 8" wide across the face. No chips. Cracks, breaks on the clock. Twice at the hour, 3 times at the hour and a half, and 4 times at the second hour, and then starts all over. It measures 4 1/4 in. across the face, 6 1/2 in. from wheel spoke to wheel spoke, and 2 in. deep. The face unscrews, and has 2 keyholes, there are 8 spokes on the ship's wheel, it also has the original key. Has some brass discoloration, and could use a good cleaning. Great collector's item. This auction is for an English fusee bracket clock case ca 1800. The case is in very nice unrestored condition. It is 11 1/2 inches wide by 19 inches tall to the top of the finial. There is no damage and all of the brass inlay is complete. The rear door has its originall lock. I am also selling a movement this week that could be made to work. Circa 1926-1945, features stone faces on each side, and an embossed skin with neoclassical decorations including scrolling foliage, torches and pineapples. There are no visible hallmarks and the maker and origin are unknown. Measures approximately 5' tall and 22" wide/deep. It has its four original electric clock movements made by the Warren Telechron Company of Ashland, Massachusetts. This firm was among the first companies in the U.S. to patent and produce electric clock movements. Their mechanisms powered some of the iconic designs of the early 20th century, including clocks designed by Paul Frankl and Gilbert Rohde. We have found no hallmarks and the maker is unknown. It features an open frame crafted from hand-hammered brass and steel, decorated with fish and scrollwork. The face is made of burl walnut. The clock is in working order, but the winding keys are missing and the pendulum is missing. The Morbier system strikes a bell at the top of the clock, on the hour and again two minutes thereafter. Ansonia Crystal Regulator Gold Plated Brass Open Escapement Clock RUNNING
From the estate of a New Hampshire clock and watch repairman is this restored Ansonia Open Escapement Crystal Regulator with gold plated brass case. A similar one in the 1886 Ansonia Catalog called it a Consul Model. And back then cost $52.00, see photo in the listing. This has a 4 1/2" diameter face marked Ansonia Clock Company. New York United States of America. The case is 11" tall with a 5 1/2 x 7" base. Both the front door and the back door open nicely and it appears to have all its original parts and glass. Unpacked it weighs 10 and will be double boxed and insured for shipping for a shipping weight of 16 pounds which will include signature confirmation and insurance.

Lovely and quality made Seiko mantle clock. This clock is running and uses a single AA battery. The gold brass frame and smoky glass front gives it a sharp look. If you love the Retro look. This is a quality item. Measures approx 9" wide at the base and tapers to a width of 8 1/2" at the top. There are some surfaces scratches on the front of the frame. Please look at picture 3. ANTIQUE OPEN ESCAPEMENT H&H FRENCH BRASS CARRIAGE CLOCK W/ ALARM BELL & KEY
Just acquired out of an estate this week. We are able to offer this exceptionally nice, antique ~ H&H OPEN ESCAPEMENT, FRENCH CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH AN ALARM BELL ~ This little brass clock was found with what we believe to be, the original brass key. It has all of the original beveled glass sections, that are in nice condition. The original porcelain dial is in very good condition as well, with only one very tiny hairline down near the very bottom. I actually had to use a loop to see it, as it is quite hard to detect. It is in running condition, as it has been running the last few days. I would certainly recommend a good cleaning and servicing, as it has been tucked away in the estate for quite some time. We did not attempt to clean or polish the clock, as we left it exactly how it was, when discovered in the estate. It measures 4 1/2 inches ... moretall by 3 1/4 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches deep. This nice original example carriage clock would make a fine addition to any collection. CHAUNCEY JEROME- NEW HAVEN MINITURE TRIPLE DECKER 30 HR BRASS. T&S SHELF CLOCK
Offered at no reserve is this wonderful empire shelf clock by Chauncey Jerome. One of the most colorful clockmakers of the Early American period. The original condition of this clock is amazing. This clock perfectly tells a story about changes in America during the mid nineteenth century. Jerome was at his peck when this clock was made. In only a few years he would lose everything to Hiram Camp, his understudy, in one of America’s first aggressive takeovers. Jerome would never recover and die a broken genius. Al three panes of glass are original. The lower two panes are art glass with a crack in the middle glass. Previous owner Sid Gillespie admitted to breaking it during his ownership. The veneer finish is exceptional. The face and hands are original. The columns are a faux finish that appears original Here’s what’s happening- After a two ... moreweek break to give locals a chance to pick my collection. We are back on line with a clock collectors dream auction- Calendars, Tiffany, Terrys, Seth Thomas, etc. There are still over a dozen to get listed so I will get busy.
