Dumas worked in Nimes between 1875-1905. This pewter reproduction was cast in lead free pewter. The model for this p ie c e is part of the Museum's collection. This jug is in good working condit ion. I t may ha ve been used as an oil jug, since this style of jug may be used for milk or oil. Some scratches. Discolor ation and bottom is a bit uneven.
