Vintage Working Halliwell-Shelton Violet Ray Bakelite Quack Medical Device from around the 20's- 30's. Works great. Just plug it in, it starts to hum and the glass attachment turns purple. Cord is in excellent shape, no fraying, the cardboard cover that goes over the plug prongs is missing, I think they used cardboard then. It comes with 3 glass attachments. The rake type is for the scalp, slightly curved is for the neck and I think the other maybe for the eye. Also a metal attachment is in the box. Possibly one glass attachment missing as I see a round indented area in the case. Box not in the greatest shape but inside the green satin is very clean. Bottom of box was coming out, I put a thin layer of glue but don't know if it will hold up. Very cool medical device. Thanks for looking.
