Spencer, Massachusetts. Estimated to be printed circa 1915-20. Located in the central part of the state near Worcester. This farm was owned by Arthur H. Sagendorph. The booklet measures 5 x 6-3/4 inches with string tied stylish embossed tan paper covers. A sturdy matching mailing envelope accompanies it. There are 16 glossy pages with black and white illustrations from photographs. Many pictures are of the livestock on the farm; Ayshires and Guernsey cows and Shire horses. Many cows are identified and their lineage given. Dates are clustered around 1910. Thus we expect that the undated booklet was printed shortly thereafter. The folder seems to be a bit later. Perhaps ... more1930. Note: on the last page of the booklet. Is the clear milk bottle and bottlecap, now popular with collectors. The folder. A self mailer, measures about 5-3/4 x 4 inches.
