This falls into the category of quack medicine these days, but back in the old days it was taken quite seriously. The case measures approx. 10.5" wide x 5" tall. The case itself is in good worn condition. I'm not sure the item is complete as there is a clip in the cover where it appears a part would have gone. I've pictured all the items that are in the box, including some of the original paperwork. The interior appears to be in good shape with some of the velvet lining peeling off. I have no literature on knowledge about the device, so my testing only involved plugging it in, and hearing a low level static noise. It did not smoke or blow a fuse. Other than that, I can't tell you any more about working condition. There are eight glass tubes; I see ten on others selling this same unit. I cleaned it up somewhat as it was dusty. There is no odor at all. The leather portion of the case handle is gone. The case has some paint splatters as shown in the last PIC. Be glad to answer any questions. The estate came from a man who died at age 101, so maybe the device worked. The Renulife Violet Ray generator is being offered AS IS. No guarantee.

One steel attachment, case key, guarantee card dated May 7, 1923, two sheets(four pages) from the original electrode catalog(including cover) 4 sheets(8 pages) from the original instructions, a full replacement set of instructions, and an"Important" instructional sheet. The outer case is in very good shape, with no tears or rips in the covering.but with some edge wear. All of the metal the corner protectors are in place, as is the working lock(key included) Inside the case, the felt lining is in very good shape; no rips or tears. The wood finish on the control panel is shiny, and the bakelite electrode handle is uncracked and unbroken. This is a 1920 Model K Renulife Violet Ray High Frequency Generator in working condition. Plug fits into any lamp light bulb socket to operate. It includes 4 attachments; a 5th appears to be missing. All wiring has original fabric outer jacket. Interior velvet lining is in good condition with no tears. Wood and metal interior also in good condition. The fabric on the outside of the box is significantly worn. Includes several instruction pamphlets plus a certificate of guaranty stamped 1920 and hand date April 3. Model K- Volts 110- Watts 30.
