Featuring many"quack" remedies. It is by R.V. Pierce MD, titled"The People's Common Sense Medical Adviser. Printed in 1895. Book is in fair condition. The lettering on the spine is worn and faded, pages are yellowed due to age and binding is starting to come loose. There is also some initials written on the spine, as well as some writing on the inside. It appears to have all pages complete. Hardcover no dust-jacket; 1008 pages; Size Approx. 5 1/2 X 8 Published by World's Dispensary Medical Association; copyright 1918 Eighty-Seventh Edition Preface by Author dated Sept 1920 Details: An interesting medical book by the author. A fine addition for your bookshelf! Condition: Good condition considering the age- This is a black vinyl-like book with some light bumping and wear on the spine ends and corners. The very durable covers have some fading. Scuffs and light soiling. There is a name on the front fly leaf(see photo) The binding is solid and the pages are lightly age toned but clean for the most part. Overall this book is still solid, readable and collectible.
