It comes with the two original electrodes that are clipped to the lid of the box and an extender plus a fine point glass electrode. The original owner must have like it so much they had to have the extras! It also comes with original operating instructions and the Physician's Directions for High Frequency Electric Treatments. Case measures 11-1/2 inches wide by 9 inches by 4 inches. The device is in excellent working order. We plugged it in. It started to hum and then the electrode started glowing purple. We tested all three glass electrodes and they all glowed. The inside of the case is in excellent condition, the outside has some spot on the top and the handle has broken off, but the pieces are all there if you wanted to make another using the pieces as a pattern. This auction is for a vintage ELCO VIOLET RAY electric health generator. The manufacturer is Lindstrom& Company. Chicago. I have no idea how this thing works, what the pieces are for, or if all the pieces are present. This thing came from an estate sale; it just seemed interesting to me. The box measures about 13 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 6 1/2" Notice that th e case is damaged. The case is locked. But it has been broken open to access it. There are original booklets about this item and other Lindstrom products included with this auction.

Wow I hate to sell this thing. What a kooky. Crazy cool piece of medical equipment. Seems to work exactly as intended. I was dumb enough to put it near my skin and sure enough little electrical impulses jumped from the machine to my arm. It comes on and the purple light runs up the tubes. It shows 6 electrodes in the instructions but there is only the throat electrode and the comb electrode included. I don't think they were ever 6 electrodes in this set because there is only 1 missing hole which would be for the general electrode. This thing is crazy cool I love it. This is a vintage Elco Lindstrom& Co. Violet Ray Quack Medicine Health Generator. It comes in an original wooden box carrying case. For the most part it appears to be in very good shape but it appears that it may be incomplete. In my photos you see 5 glass tube attachments( one of these is broken) I believe originally there were 6 glass attachments. Please see my photos for total inventory of parts. Other things may be missing. The blue lightbulb glass is mostly unattached from it's threads. The case is in good shape but the top and bottom have cracks and there is other wear( see photos) I do not know if this will work and it is being sold as a relic of Quack Medicine.I also noticed an electrical tape repair to the cord that goes to the handset. This is a vintage 1942 Ray& Radiation Ultraviolet therapeutic quack medical device. It produces a Ultraviolet ray that you can feel the charge from on the outside of the glowing tubes. It comes with the two original electrodes that are clipped to the lid of the box and an extender plus a fine point glass electrode. RenuLife Violet Ray Generator Model K- Vintage‘Quack’ Medicine– Not Complete This auction is for a vintage RenuLife Violet Ray Generator Model K with electrode applicators. This package is not complete. This item was purchased on eBay once before. During shipping. One of the electrodes shattered and the buyer discovered that the item no longer worked. I gave a full refund to the buyer and the item was shipped back to me. I was able to fix the unit. It’s still in good condition and it now works again. The wand. Or the handle that hold the electrodes, is in great shape. The cord and the electrical cord that plugs into the wall are also in excellent condition. The dashboard, where the control knob resides, and the control knob itself, is very nice, but there are a few small nicks and scratches on the dashboard. The labeling around the knob is ... morestill there and looks great, as you can see from the pictures. It now comes with only(4) of the(5) electrodes; a Surface or General Body Electrode. A Rake Comb Electrode, a Metal Electrode, and a Single Eye Electrode. They are all in great shape and they all work. I tested them all myself prior to posting this auction. The External Throat Electrode is the one that is missing. You can see it in the last picture, which I took the first time I put this item on eBay. It is the second electrode from the right. The carrying case is in fair to good condition. There is definitely some wear and tear on the outer surfaces. Corners, and edges and there is no handle. The purple felt inside is still there, but is slowly flaking off, along with the‘RenuLife’ logo in the inside corner of the lid. This item also comes with multiple pieces of original paperwork. In very very good condition(considering it's age. Almost 100 years old! Comes with: Carrying case-in good. Sturdy condition leather handle is intact, buckle-style closure good, hinges on lid good. Some peeling of the veneer. Interior is lined in luxurious purple velvet, which is in good condition with a few minor spots that show wear and tears. 3 Attachments(electrodes) the 2 glass attachments are not broken. This is an authentic violet ray electrode for use with a violet ray machine. This electrode is an Ozone Generator which generates a flow of ozone to be inhaled through the nostrils. Radiant Ozone Generator Quack Medical
Radiant ozone generator from the 1920s based on Tesla's patent. It runs on electricity although I haven't tested it. Wooden case measures 18 x 8 x 8 and the top locks nicely onto the base to allow you to carry it by the handle. The device weighs 20 lbs and the wood is in pretty good condition. This is a rare ozone generator by Milsom from 1876. In beautiful condition for its age. This piece and its mate came from the Elli Buk estate. I purchased the pair. One is staying in my personal collection, the other is for auction here to join your own collection of quality medical antiques. Adverts describing this unique piece can be found and. This piece is in remarkable condition for its age and material. Considering as time passed. Most of these items were thrown out or destroyed, to own one of these is rare. The only issue with this piece is a fine, hairline crack running up from the base and over to the left halfway up the top shell. It is not continuous, and is very, very minor. 50's? Rittenhouse& Revere Wood Electronic Wave Generator Liter Flow Regulator. Comes in nice but not mint condition and has some cracks in the wood. I have never come across one of these before and couldn't find any information on it, it turns on and lights up but I have no idea how to test it to see if it works. It comes exactly as seen in the 12 pictures and part of the rubber wire on the plug looks like it has some dry rot, it measures approx 17" in height, 15" in width and 8.5" at the widest point. I wish I could give you more info on this neat old antique but this is a new one for me, I hope the 12 pictures help and best of luck.
