This auction is for one antique medicine bottle. Its an aqua colored bottle. On the front it says Dr. Kilmer's Swamp Root Kidney Liver and Bladderremedy, Binghamton, N.Y. U.S.A. It still has some of the original label on the back so i really haven't tried to clean it very much. On the bottom its stamped 14A. The embossing on the front is all uneven and it runs together in random ways. It has a blob top and is a really nice bottle for any collector.

In the days before the FDA was around all kind of Quack doctors would come up with potions and pills to cure just about anything. By the time people bought and used them they had moved on. Freshly dug. And up for sale here is a rare sized Dr. Kilmer's Swamp Root Kidney Liver and Bladder Remedy Bottle. This old bottle has one 1/8th inch in diameter flea bite chip on the bottom right hand side. If you are facing the bottle. You cannot see the chip if the bottle is standing upright on a shelf for display; it is a beautiful"aqua" bluegreen color. These pictures show how clear the bottle is and hopefully you can see the casting imperfections on the glob top lip. There are 2 other light scratches on the bottle. But if you have it tumbled with copper etc, they will polish out nicely.

Yet another Dr. Kilmers tradecard. This one with fairly heavy wear, and fold marks;plus edge wear and portions of corners missing; the colors still reasonably bright on front which pictures ocean and a heart/reverse has scuffs and edge wear,creases and light stain. It's obvious this 5" x 3" circa 1890/1900 card has had some pretty tough use; despite all these issues,it displays well and the graphics are fantastic,with the heart pictured on both sides. Up for sale is this bottle from the late 1800's. It was manufactured by a quack doctor named Dr. S.Andral Kilmer. He made concauctions for everything that ails you. His plant was located in Binghamton. New York. This bottle is in great shape with all the attributes that a bottle from this time period. The pictures don't really do it justice. Some cloudiness below the neck was surface dirt you can wipe off. It says 12 A on the bottom of the bottle.The front reads in embossed or raised lettering, Dr Kilmers's Swamp root kidney liver and bladder cure. Below that it reads Binghamton N.Y.U.S.A.
