Very nice condition 1860's vintage veterinary kit in wood box. Includes boxes of various medicne. This is a really really nice piece and would make a great display or addition to your collection. Label on inside top cover is a little stained but you can buy new ones if you choose to on Ebay. I personally like it the way it is. I have a very reasonable buy it now price as I have seen these going for $350.00 and more in this condition with contents. Please contact me with any questions. Has some drive issues.The main gear on the crank slips wich should be an easy fix by peening the shaft.also the small gear that the big one drives has a flat spot on one of the teeth. Again it is fixable either by a clock maker or if you are mechanically inclined can drop a little soldier or braise and file it in. If you run it slow it works enough to demonstrate. Being offered is an antique 1880's quack medical meter by Otto Flemming Philadelphia Penn. The case is made of beautiful quartersawn oak retaining its original gloss finish. The glass is good. The mechanism is built of heavy brass. The pointer still pivots and the pivot release mechanism still works well. The curved black brass scale retains its embossed and painted letters. The condition is as good as you will find anywhere.

Included in the box is some sort of tool. The tool and the dove tailed box are both in excellent condition. According to someone elses description of one of these on Ebay. It was marketed by"Elvard L. Moses" 1910-1915) who was sentenced to 18 months in the federal penitentiary for sales of fraudulent devices through the U.S. Postal Service. The purpose of the device. Here is an early 1900's advertisement box for B&M External Remedy. It could have functioned as a shipping crate/ box or as a salesman's carry-all. Overall. It is in good condition for its age. It measures 21 3/4" wide x 14" deep x 8 5/8" tall. It is quite sturdy and the lid has its original chain attached to it to keep it up. It also has some sort of organizer built into that maybe held salesman papers. It is missing the top of the latch and half of the trim on one side. ANTIQUE GLASS STOPPER BOTTLE TOUT DRUG PHARMACY OIL JUNIPER WOOD
Here at auction is an antique prescription bottle. Glass stopper is original and the liquid remains in the bottle is a little over 3/4 full. The bottle and stopper is approx. 5 1/2" tall and 2" diameter bottom. I cannot remove the glass stopper. So the bottle is sold as is. It looks like it has leaked and is soiled, but I was afraid to try to clean it up. Label is so very old and fragile. Check close up photo of the glass stopper. It has no cracks or chips but does feel rough along the edge and appears there is a seam just along the edge, the photo shows the small roughness. The Oil of Juniper Wood smells very good. If I could remove the stopper I would clean it out and keep the oil for fragrance. If you have questions please ask.

For sale is an antique Tesla No. 30 crank Electroshock Magneto Therapy Device in the original dovetail wooden box. This unit works. Is complete, a little frayed on 1 of the ends that goes into the cylinder as shown in one of the pictures. Box is very cool, says Tesla No. 30 on the outside. Looks like someone made a lid for it. The unit is about 3 1/2" tall, all original, really good shape for the age. Nikola Tesla worked at the Edison company& then went off on his own. Really an interesting inventor! Antique Quack Medical Device In Fitted Wood Box - The Flemming Battery Co. Phila
This is manufactured by the Flemming Battery Company. Philia. It is in a wood box which is 9" long, 4-5/8" wide and 7" high. The long bar with the ball on the end moves up and down. There is a provision for a key on the front, but that is missing. There are 2 levers that can be placed in 4 different positions and two levers with two positions. What you see is what you get. I don't know what it was supposed to do. But I can guess. There is a battery operated coil on one end and as the lever with the ball bounces up and down the electrical connection is broken. I imagine that this causes an intermittent shock of varying levels. It is a cool gadget. Everyone should have one. No other markings on this device. Quarter sawn oak box. Claw foot legs, two are damaged and not attached. Some wear and tear. The printing on the lid is still in good condition. Not flaking off. Crack on the back going through to the label. The instructions is legible even with the crack on the back of the box. Antique Quack Medical Device Wood Box Only Patent 1854 Magneto-Electric Machine
This auction is for an antique Davis& Kidder Magneto-Electric Machine quack medical device that originally gave the subject shocks from a hand crank magneto. A few years ago. I had the insides from one of these, but sold it when I figured out what it was. This auction is for the wooden box only. The corners are reinforced with brass and it has a lock with a shield shaped escutcheon. The label is intact inside the cover, but there are no other parts included and no key. The outside has some marks and spots, but no serious structural or other damage. There are built-in holes on the sides for the cords, attachments and the hand crank and it measures about 10" x 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" It has a patent date from 1854, but there is also an endorsment from a doctor included and dated 1864.
