This is a really nice collection of very small ancient Roman glass perfume bottles that I purchased in London at an antique show around 15 years ago. The 2 standing bottles are 1.5" high x 1.25" wide. Nice patinas and sediment consistent with age. There are a couple of tiny chips on the rims but no breakage or repairs that I can see. I don't have any papers for the bottles but the seller assured me they were antiquities around 100-300 AD. Please ask questions before bidding/no returns.

Set of 4 Frosted Roman Greek Key Ribbed Flint Glass Goblets C EAPG 1860s. These 4 hard to find Frosted Roman Key(aka Greek Key) goblets were made by Union Glass of Somerville. Massachussetts. They are fine clear bell-toned flint glass of the 1860s, with a machine-made frosted surface on the Greek Key. The goblets have horizontal bands above and below the Greek Key, and vertical ribs leading down to the faceted stem. They were produced in three-piece molds. Each goblet is 6 inches tall by 3 3/8 inches wide at the rim and weighs 13 oz(shipping weight 5 lbs) Condition: Fair to Good. Two of the goblets have minor chips in the foot. As shown. beautifully free blown Roman glass phial(vial) or apothecary or medicine bottle of double gourd shape with a long tapering neck; the rim flattened; probably 2nd or 3rd Century AD. This is a rare example of Roman glass in excellent condition. It is free blown and made of thin. Aquamarine-tinted glass.The shape suggests it may have been intended as a medicine or apothecary bottle which would have been stopped with some sort of device, possibly a cork. It may have been designed for holding poisons. The shape of the bottle and the quality of blowing is wonderful as you can see by taking a look at the photographs below. It has a double-gourd shaped lower part with a long, tapering funnel-like neck. The rim is turned over, maybe something that was intended to allow it to stand in a wooden rack or some other kind of stand.
