I purchased these 4 flip glasses in 1969 from the Metropolitan Museum of Art gift shop. They have been on display and never used. They are 6" tall and 3 1/4" at the base. They have a mark"MMA" on the bottom to denote that they are reproductions from the museum(not too clearly visible but in the photo of the bottom) Flip was a popular 19th century rum drink and the glass holds a quart. It's a beautiful glass with diamond banding. The glassblower's pontil mark is visible on the base. An indication of just how exact these copies are. When sold, it was suggested they be used as vases if you weren't interested in such a large glass for drinking! Price is for all four glasses.

The bowl also includes a write up about the piece: A particularly unusual feature of this pattern-molded bowl is the trailed blue threading around the rim. This is lovely artwork from a collection titled a flight of butterflies from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Originally published in 1904 in Kyoto Japan and titled One Thousand Kind of Butterflies. This is an original facsimile copy from the collection printed on specially made paper and bound in Japan in 1979. It is a little rough, in two pieces as shown in picture. There are small holes in the corner that look like tack marks where it could have been hung at some point. Metropolitan Museum of Art Pottery Reproduction Hearts and Flowers Plates
These are 2 Metropolitan Museum of Art Pottery Reproduction Plates. One is hearts and flowers. I am not sure of the name of the other plate. The hearts and flowers plates has pretty paisley type scroll work in each section an a petal flower in the center. There are 6 sections. The other. Is a hexagon shaped plate with 6 triangular sections, with delicate scroll work designs. There are some tiny point imperfections in the glaze, as is common with these type of glaze. I have pointed them out in the photos. The reverse has the Metropolitan Museum of Art pottery makers mark on it. They have a very pretty delicate design and would be a pretty decorative addition to any room. The hearts and flowers plate measure 8 inches across, the other is 9 inches across. This heart dish was made by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A reproduction of an English Staffordshire dish in the Museum's American Wing Collection, circa 1740-1760. The original insert paper states that the dish was produced with a lead free glaze, allowing it to be safely used to serve food. It is oven proof(350 degrees) but not microwave proof.
