Feet, and tools inside. the box tapers from the bottom from thin to wider and the top of the box tapers upward as well. It has a very detailed hand carved floral and animal scene cut from wood. each side also has a different very detailed wooden animal scene. inside the lid is a removable mirror also trimmed with the same mosaic style and locks into place with brass hardware. inside the box is very ornate and has many sewing compartments. Storage, needle box, thimble, spool holders etc. the carved ox bone lids and trim around some of the wooden tops also have inlaid mosaic. this part of the box removes all together and reveals the storage below. behind the mirror and the storage below are lined with a nice blue felt. it is in exquisite shape and no mosaic inlays missing. it measures 7 1/8 inches long by 5 1/8 inches wide by 3 inches tall. the bottom piece of wood is splitting a bit but un-noticable when upright. Prehistoric Native American Indian Pottery Olla Pot Large 8 3/4 inches This remarkably rare Prehistoric Native American Indian Pottery Olla Pot is 8 3/4 inches tall with a base of around 2 1/2 inches and an opening of 4 1/2. This was recently purchased at an estate auction of an avid collector who had been collecting for over 60 years. As you can see from the pictures there is damage to the lip of this pot. And a strap of some sort of old leather is tied around the neck which is very deteriorated. The best we can determine is that this was a type of burial vessel that was put with the decedent to carry items to the after-life. The picture on the front of the pot is a"cloud" created during the firing process, caused by direct contact to fuel/ heat source. The Fuld numbers are correct. It appears to be over stuck on a Civil War Store Card, NY630-W-1a, which is Felix(Kosher) Dining Saloon, 256 Broadway, New York, with this under type clearly shown on the reverse side, within& surrounding the shield in the center(see enlarged pictures) Now it gets more interesting, as the Obverse(Indian Head side) is a mess. Between 2:00& 5:00 there is what I think are Die Clashes from NY630AG-3a, John P. Gruber, 178 Chatham Sq. NY, in reverse. The lettering is difficult to read(see pictures) but I can make out P. Gruber there. However, this doesn't explain the presences of at least 7 extra stars around ... morethe edge. Maybe double struck obverse from a clashed die on an over struck Store Card? This is a small piece measuring 18 X 22 inches. It is very well made. Soft, and colorful. It would be great to hang or use as a pillow top. It is old, probably antique. Colors are red, black, cream and a very light peach color. Somewhere I read that the lines are like railroad tracks, whether that is right or not I don't know. The large center design quite intricate.

Mexican Zapotec Indian Placemat Weavings
I have 4 wool natural dyed Mexican Zapotec Indian weavings that look to be the size of placemats. 15" by 19" with about 2" of fringe. The placemats are tightly woven with a beautiful bright design, but the fringed edges have not been finished so a small amount of yarn is slightly loose. The design of each is different but very similar, as seen in the pictures. The one with the pink has some staining but it shows very little and could probably be cleaned easily. One also looks to have a small discolored area but otherwise they are all very natural and very beautiful. I am not an expert in weavings but I do think these are very nice.

It has a rectangular shape and measures 44" long by 23" wide plus fringes on either end. This wool rug is in excellent condition-no holes. Rips or stains-and is clean, bright and ready for your use and would be excellent as a rug or as a wall hanging. This is a vintage rug and therefore is not perfect but in very-good vintage condition. American Indian Penobscot type splint and grass basket
This basket appears to be a Penobscot basket judging by what I've seen through other listings. I am not an expert in baskets but do believe this is authentic American Indian. Measures 2.5 high x 5 inches wide.Great condition with some light green striping on the inside and greenish dye on the underside. It is made of splint and grass with no broken areas at all. The lid fits well. It is not cleaned and has a little white specs on the lid. It looks like a bird was there. USPS shipping will be 5.70 priority mail.

Vintage Navajo Rose& Alvin Boy Sterling Turquoise Bracelet This is a Navajo cluster bracelet signed by silversmiths Rose& Alvin Boy. The cluster has a center cabochon with 14 teardrop stones surrounding. Separated by braidwork. Each stone is set in a sawtooth bezel, each of which is remarkably tight and symmetrical with the others. Beautiful work. The sides of the cluster have neat tooled work. But please note that there is some flaked oxidation- where you can see silver through the darker black part. If you aren't familiar, this is NOT tarnish or patina- It's part of the smithing process that involves oxidizing the silver. In this case, some of that has shown through. Also, I took a top-shot photo of the profile of this bracelet because it is a little bit out of form(pre-owned, after all. It is a little'flatter' and ... moreoval-shaped than it should probably be. However, because this is a cluster bracelet you have a lot of play to adjust the shape without popping any stones. If you've never adjusted a bracelet I would see if your jeweler would do it for you real quick( at little or no charge) just so you have experienced hands on it. This bracelet weighs 26 grams. It depicts a spirit of an Indian flying into the sky, and his body laid out on a Burial Scaffold wrapped in a traditional Indian blanket. This piece was done with Tempera paint. It has no discoloring or marks at all on it, there is a plastic over the painting to keep it protected and it is very reflective. The painting is 18 inches tall and 12 inches across. The corners are a little worn, but not enough to compromise the integrity of the piece, the frame will cover it. An amazing piece of art that tells a crazy story. Happy bidding! Posted with the

revolutionary war era axe, dated 1772, orginal handle, fur trade axe, indian axe
Offering for bid an authentic revolutionary war or fur trade belt axe dated! Total length is 15" Bit is 2" length is 5 1/2" The eye of axe is approx. 1 1/2" and there are three rose head nails pushed through the eye into handle. There is a wide crack in the handle and a 1 1/2" pewter band around the handle. This might be a period repair or maybe just for decoration. There is a date on the band of 1772 and several punch decorations medicine wheel etc. There is a white substance at the eye of axe and I don't know what it is maybe lime? The base of handle has a iron ring 2 3/4" in dia. with a brass"tinkler" thimble. There are traces of charred wood at the base of handle. There are some black ink numbers written on the axe, I believe this piece was excivated from some old fort wall in Penn. area. Just ... moremy thoughts! This is really a nice piece from the fur trade era and would add to any revolutionary or fur trade collection.
