E Stevens Co. The J. E. Stevens made really great banks and toys. Always intricate smooth castings. Just great! This Pay Phone Bank should be cleaned up, but not by me. It would probably polish up nicely, but by someone that knows how to do it correctly! The coin trap cover may not have been original with the bank, but it was there when I purchased it. This 1953 Coronation Crown is the largest cast iron crown bank in the series. It is heavy at nearly 2 lbs. and has thick nickle plate. The base shows how it has worn off over the last 57 years. The dogs ears and mouth move slowly with the music. Painted in a gold tone brass finish which is still pretty much intact but with some wear. The inkwells are missing the glass inserts. But should be fairly easy to find a pair that fits. Stamped to the bottom with numbers 6062. There are no dents or dings or broken bits on this very collectible piece; wear to the gilt paint. Genuine circa 1880 cast iron bank building money box in good condition considering it's age.Money box is missing the original bolt that went through the centre to hold it together. Also the front corners of the roof as seen in the pictures each have a small chip out of the cast iron. The one on the left was done during manufacturing and painted over, the one on the right is a later break.Still has a lot of the original gold paint. Up for bid is this really cool Vintage Carnival Shooting Gallery Knock Down Target. It is a Cast Iron Bird measuring 2.75 inches tall and 3.25 inches wide. The bird's base measures 7/8 by 1.75 inches. It's in Excellent Used condition to be as old as it is with very little rust or wear. I do not know where is was made because it has no markings. But I know that it is an old piece. I don't know the exact age, but it's definitely not a reproduction. For any serious collector, this would make a nice addition to your collection.
