Here is a very interesting quack devise that is very streamline art deco stylized in design. I was told it was a heater for feet. Perhaps and enlighted ebayer can correct that classification? the body is bakelite and I assume from the design and materials it is from the 30s or 40s. It works and is heavy nearly 5 lbs. Vintage Art Deco 1940s Light Fixture Retro Wall Sconce
Vintage lighting kit from the 1940's. This was a wall sconce that was found in bathrooms in homes built during that era. It has the plug that you can plug the 2 prong appliance plugs into. You don't find these anymore. Cool for cabin bathrooms or playrooms. It has some paint around base that can easily be cleaned up along with the rust. Wiring looks to be in good shape. No bulb. Made in the USA.

You are bidding on a beautiful pair of vintage hollywood style art deco/art nouveau sconces. They have been rewired. And are ready to go. I have added a plug-in cord, or they can be directly hard wired. They also have on/off buttons that make them perfect for bedside sconces. They measure approximately 13" tall overall, 7" wide, and extend 9" from the wall. They appear to be a type of lucite, both shiny and frosted. The arms are plaster and show cracking appropriate for the age of the sconces. I am listing this pair at FAR LESS than I originally paid, with no reserve. I have described to the best of my ability. GREAT PAIR TALL ART DECO RETRO EAMES ERA CHROME LAMP SCONCES FIXTURES
Sorry. No International Shipping. Please note that our photos are below the item description. This great pair of vintage chrome sconces are 21" tall and 3" wide across the widest part of the backs. The chrome shades on the front are 18" tall and 3" wide. We haven't cleaned or worked on them at all. They are in good original condition but are in need of some restoration. The chrome plating is 100% intact and they would polish up beautifully. Their only imperfections are: there is some old paint residue along the sides of the sconces(the only large spot seen in the second photo and the close up just below it) and there is a bit of bending in the brackets that hold the shades in place(4th row of photos) Again please note that you are only seeing dirt in the close ups not scratches or missing chrome. There are no other ... moredamages of any sort on the sconces. The sconces hold a 17" long flourescent bulb(one bulb is there and is included. One is missing) We did not know how to remove the shades and try the sconces so please assume they need to be totally rewired and electrified. A great pair of vintage sconces, in need of restoration, that would be a valued addition to your decor or lighting collection. This auction is for a Vintage 1933 French Art Deco JAZ'Cubic' chrome alarm clock with display/travel case. Clock measurements 2.75 inches high 2.75 inches wide and 1.50 inches depth. This unusual original chrome cubic clock has a silver face with a chessboard pattern on the front. When viewed from different angles the chessboard appears to have a 3D effect! The chrome is in very good condition for it's age, just some very light general wear. The clock runs well and keeps good time and the alarm works well although not a bright ring. The display/travel case although very old has been refurbished with modern materials and it may not be the original case that came with the clock. Vintage Chrome Decanter/Cocktail Shaker Bakelite Handle- Art Deco Style My research has found that this estate sale find is from the 1930's. The hallmark on the bottom is from Keystonewear. Not Keystoneware(I listed both names to be able to explain the real maker in this description) This art deco style shaker decanter with a Bakelite handle is in great condition. It holds just over 6 cups of liquid. Measures about 12 1/2 inches tall 4 1/2 inches across the base and 7 1/2 inches from the end of the handle to the tip of the spout. The top opening rim measures 2 1/4 inches. The inside of the decanter is clean. Please hand wash only, do not put in the dishwaser. This shaker features a screw on cap for the spout. Inside the cap is the original cork. There is a small dent to the cap and some minor pitting that is more visible in the photo ... morethen in person. Vintage Art Deco Chrome and Red Lucite Handle Cocktail Shaker
A prime example of Art Deco design and the use of Lucite one of the first plastics to be manufactured in America. It is 13” tall and 5” wide at it widest point. It does not leak and has no dings or cracks to make it useless for making great Mimosas on a Sunday morning newspaper reading party. Look how clear the handle is. You can read through it. Cool huh. DANISH BERGEN POTTERY ART DECO VASE
Bergan pottery has been accused of being a Gouda rip off. Maybe, as they arn't far apart. Once one becomes familiar with the rather crude designes of Bergen they are easy to distinguish. This is an outrageously deco vase. 7.5" x 6" and in excellent condition. It dates to the 1920's or 30's and is seldom seen as Bergen wasn't nearly as prolific as their neighboring Gouda factories.

MALING OLD MILL WALL PLATE 6313 COBALT BLUE ART DECO
MAKER: CT Maling of Newcastle On Tyne. England. Made in the North East of England. Maling traces its history back to 1762, until the factory finally closed in 1963. Maling Ware has a strong collectors base and pieces designed in the 1930's such as this are particularly sought after. DESCRIPTION: We are offering this spectacular cobalt blue and tubelined WALL PLATE or CHARGER. In the OLD MILL pattern, Pattern Number 6313. The pattern depicts a gorgeous pastoral scene. Including an old thatched water mill, with a river, bridge and brightly coloured flowers. The pattern dates from the mid 1930's and was put on hold during the Second World War when the production of decorated ceramics were stopped due to wartime restrictions. Some patterns were revived after the war and this particular plate has an impressed date stamp for July 1947( ... more7.47) The base has an underglaze printed Maling backstamp that was used in the 1930's and 1940's.It also has 2 impressed Made in England marks. As well as the hand painted pattern number, followed by the decorator's mark. It is 11 1/8" in diameter( 28 cm) and weighs 2 lbs( 900g) unpacked. CONDITION: It appears to be in very good vintage condition. With no cracks or wear of the pattern. There is what appears to be a small. Disguised fleabite on the rim as shown on one of the photos. It has been covered with a dark paint and as a consequence is felt rather than seen. Whether it occurred at the factory or with a previous owner is not known. The position is where a wire plate hanger may have contacted it. Although this is minor we have reduced the price to reflect this. AGE: It dates from 1947. Although the pattern is from approximately 10 years prior. While there are no hallmarks on the bottle; there is an original price tag that reflects this bottle was made in Italy. The bottle measures 6 ¾ inches tall with the stopper in place(4 ½ inches without the stopper in place) 5 inches long and 2 inches wide. The bottle has lines that give it that almost art deco look. There is a small chip at the top of the bottle– please see photos– it is hardly noticeable. The stopper is glass and appears to be painted gold. No apparent damage to the stopper. This Art Deco Ansonia Mantle Clock was manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co. New York, United States of America. It has the Trade Mark in the middle of the face. It measures 10" accross by 9" high and is 5" wide. The clock chimes correctly when you move the arms but it isn't working. I believe it has been over wound. If that is the correct term. I also believe it can be fixed quite simply. The timber case is in very good condition. It has the pendulum and a key.
