Hi. You are bidding on a beautiful plate or charger. This porcelain Haviland Limoges platter is 12.5 inches or so. It is in good condition throughout. It is hand painted. And the artist signed it Strode(or something similar) 1909. The bird is a Goffin's Cockatoo, according to research. I found two amazing Limoges painted bird platters. The other one is also on ebay right now. The colors in this one are WONDERFUL, rich and well-executed. You will be pleased with beauty, age, rarity and unique nature of this antique charger.

Antique HAVILAND LIMOGES coffee pot FRANCE gold ribbon
Up for auction is an antique Haviland Limoges coffee pot. The gold is worn throughout the ribbon as seen in the pictures. There is a chip on the spout which can be seen on 5th picture. The cover also has a chip on the little tab(10th pic) which is on the inside of the cover. So not noticeable when cover is on pot, or when serving coffee. Also, the last picture is of a tiny mark along the rim of the coffee pot. I am not sure if this is a flaw of manufacture or a tiny chip. This coffee pot is a beautiful antique of the past and was put to use during its lifetime. However, the pink flowers are clear as are the green leaves. It would look lovely set on a tea table. I am not an antiques dealer. Nor an expert, but I am honest. Please contact me with any questions.

Antique Haviland & Co Limoges Serving Bowl, c1888-1896; Perfect Beauty
This is a true beauty. By Haviland Limoges. The back stamp on this piece indicates that it was made between 1888 and 1896. It was apparently made for a retail store in London by the name of Wigmores and New Bonds. The piece presents in excellent condition with no flaws or defects, despite its great age. It truly looks great. The pattern is a very pretty floral in pink and purple on a white background. There are heavy gold accents going all around the border, which has pretty scalloped edges. The outer surface of the piece has the same floral clusters going all the way around. The bowl measures 9 and a 1/4 in across, and is almost 2 in deep. The weight is just over a pound. Hi. You are bidding on a beautiful BEAUTIFUL 14 inch porcelain hand painted charger marked Limoges France. It is one of two amazing Limoges hand painted bird plates I found together. This one has gold gilt trim around the very rim. It is in good condition throughout. It features a group of cardinal birds with berries playing in the berry bushes. I think that you are going to be SO pleased with beauty. Age(over 100 years old) and condition. Thank you. I will have the other charger on ebay as well. That one is signed and dated 1909. In my pictures for the cardinal charger, I used a flash and then no flash so you do see a difference in color. THe plate is well-colored, still rich and vibrant. Thank you.

The plate measures approximately 6 5/8 inches wide, the bowl 1 3/4 inches tall, 5 3/8 inches wide across the rim, 7 1/2 inches from end of handle to end of other handle. Both the bowl& plate are marked on the bottom in green with the Wm. Guerin& Co Limoges France mark, which should date them to between 1900-1932. The bowl& plate are both in good condition; no chips. Web Posting Information NO RESERVE HIGH BIDDER WINS THIS GORGEOUS SET Theodore Haviland Limoges France Porcelaine with Creamer and Sugar Bowl- along with lids for the pot and sugar bowl This gorgeous set was my grandmother's and on display in her china cabinet for over 55 years. She never used it. But from the mark it appears to have been made possibly in 1895. I have had it myself for over 25 years in addition to the time my grandmother had it. It is a beautiful white porcelain with a gold accent design and a floral pattern of pink and blue flowers with some green and what appears to me as yellow and purple. All three pieces are included in this auction as a set. The coffee pot or teapot or perhaps chocolate potmeasures approximately 9.5" tall x 7" x 6" and comes with the lid.The Sugar Bowl is 5" x 5" x 5" ... moreand also comes with the lid. The Creamer is 4.5" x 4.25" x 3"All of these pieces carry the same identical mark of- Porcelaine Theodore Haviland Limoges France. The set appears to be in excellent condition with only a teeny tiny chip on the spout of the coffee pot and a rough mark on lip of the sugar bowl which is like a spot where the glaze was missed. After careful feeling and visual examination I think it is safe to say that there are no defects to the creamer and no other defects to the pot or bowl than those noted. An excellent specimen for the collector from the time period so long ago. I don't know much about china other than Grandma sure had a lot of it! So. Here is a beautiful 10 1/4" hand painted scalloped Limoges Game plate thats almost 10.75 inches in diameter(see L Coudert signature at photo#6) It is in very good condition. No chips. Cracks or repairs. There looks to be a light scratch to the paint at the top of one of the iris flowers but it seems to be under the glaze because I can not feel it(see photo#4) The gold trim around the plate is in very good condition with some minor wear at the high-point of the scroll-work(see photo's#5 and#6) The plate is marked Limoges Coronet France dating it between 1890 and 1920. Antique Ahrenfeldt Limoges France Hand Painted Plate Gold Trim Artist Signed
This gorgeous plate was made by Charles Ahrenfeldt in Limoges. France and is hand painted and signed by the artist. I can't quite make out the name- Fuilom? Andom? Anyway, you can see it in the pictures. Whoever it was, the artist did a wonderful job. The Ahrenfeldt and Depose Limoges marks date from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The porcelain has a wonderful scalloped and scrolled edge that is thickly decorated in bright gold. The center is hand painted with a nicely detailed floral pattern trimmed in gold. This piece displays beautifully. Condition: There is very minor wear to the gold trim. Otherwise. This gorgeous hand painted plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks! Up for bid is this lovely 3.25-inch in diameter. 1.5-inch tall small, hand-painted antique porcelain powder or trinket box with the standard white ware green“Limoges France” mark on its back(post-1890 to early 1900’s) when blanks were frequently sold for later decoration in studios, or by others elsewhere; as china decorating was an extremely popular hobby amongst the upscale ladies of the day. The lid features a pretty. Rosy-cheeked young ... morewoman with wavy chestnut brown curls and golden-amber eyes on a powder blue background. The portrait is edged in delicate gold scrollwork. There might be a subtle artist’s signature to the right of the woman’s silver pendant(it is a very faint gold-brown and might read: AJI, I really can’t tell) or perhaps it is just part of the neckline detailing on the woman’s collar. The rim of the lid is edged in brown. Any white areas within the photos are merely light reflections. The top rim has no worn paint. The bottom portion also is painted a chocolate brown. On offer is an antique Limoges Candle stick or holder. The candle holder was made in Limoges. France by Delinieres and Co. This piece is bright white, with blue floral designs, I believe they are plumaria and hydrangea flowers. The candlestick stands 5 5/8" high, and measures 3 3/4" across the base. From what I have been able to find online, the Delinieres and Co. mark on the bottom indicates that this piece was made between 1890 and 1910. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing to this piece. There is some loss to the gilt that decorates the column of the candlestick, but it is not noticeable, and is to be expected in a piece of this age. Believe previous owner to be Peter J. Kimener born in Defiance Ohio March 15. 1867 and died January 15, 1936. Obituary can be seen in the Logansport Pharos-Tribune(Logansport, Indiana) dated Wed. January 15, 1936. Repairs have been made on the lip and base of the mug. Please review photos carefully. Appears that gilting has been reapplied to base. Color and detail on lathe is very good. Antique Haviland Limoges Ranson Chocolate Pot Set 10 pieces Victorian Art Deco
Really incredible antique set of Limoges china. The chocolate pot itself is Haviland Ranson blank, 12 tasse pot. The 4 matching cups and saucers are William Guerin blanks. The set would be termed a transitional design, as the style of the blanks are Victorian, but the design the artist chose in 1904 is certainly indicative of that year, which would have been the beginning of the Art Deco period. The upper area of the background of the pieces of this set have shell pink. And stylized pink poppies with long stems intersect the upper pink area and flow down toward the bottom. Thin gold outlining trim the flowers, and outline the areas separating the pink from white. Also, the spout of the pot and the rims of the cups and saucers have thin gold trim. Exquisite set, you will not be disappointed! SIZE: The chocolate pot stands 8 3/4" to the ... morespout. From bottom to top of lid is about 10" The cups stand 2 3/4" high, 2 1/8" across top. The saucers are 4 3/4" across. CONDITION: The only damage is the tab on the inside of the lid of the pot. It's difficult to understand why Haviland had these tabs inside the lids because 50% of the time they are chipped off. And clearly. You can see the set wasn't used! Cups and saucers are excellent. MARKS: The green Haviland France mark. As pictured, was used 1894 to 1931. The green Guerin mark was used 1900-1932. Our artist has signed the chocolate pot bottom with her initials and'04. Antique Limoges Hand Painted Art Nouveau Plate ~ Painted & Signed by Dubois
I attended an estate sale recently where I found a treasure trove of mint condition hand-painted Limoges plates. I left the estate sale with over a half dozen of them and I am putting them all up for auction here. After researching what I brought home. I was thrilled when I realized I had left with a plate painted by Dubois, who is considered one of the two best Limoges artists(along with A. Broussilon) Dubois plates are highly sought after, and I feel lucky that I managed to come home with one! Dubois did his work in the late 1800's during the"Art Nouveau period, but he is mostly known for his plates depicting wildlife and portraits, so an"Art Nouveau" plate painted by Dubois is a rare find. In my research of Limoges artists, I found the following: There are some unusual paintings, especially in pastels, where, designers ... moreusing pastels have been able to give flower patterns a wispy effect, where flowers and foliage are almost floating on the porcelain. This plate is an excellent example of that. The full, rich gold, trimmed in dark green, borders the bright floral depiction, giving this plate an eye-catching depth and movement. And, of course, its simplistic style of sinuous outlines and stylized natural forms of flowers and leaves are classic"Art Nouveau. This plate measures 8 1/4 inches in diameter. The Dubois signature is on the front of the plate. This plate is in excellent condition considering its age! The gold gilding is just stunning and strong. The flowers are gorgeous. There is a small fleck of paint missing from the green stem on the bottom and perhaps an area of the stem near the flower on top where there is a small area of wear. I can't really tell if this was the way it was painted. There are no discernible scratches on the face of the plate. The back of the plate is numbered"3375" with"23" underneath and has the words"Hand Painted" in green script. This plate is a beauty! Just inside the gold scalloped edges are dainty pale blue flowers& pale green leaves. The plates are signed Porcelaine Theodore Haviland Limoges France. Abram French Company Boston(see back of plates) Abram French(1805–1884) was a crockery. Glassware. And china dealer in 19th-century Boston. Massachusetts. Abram French and Co was formed in1869 and closed in 1884. One plate has 2 small marks in the center bowl from firing. The plates have no chips. Cracks or crazing. For the buyer. Antique Limoges France AK Shallow Bowl w/ Gold Trim - Made between 1900 - 1910
This listing is for an antique Limoges France AK Shallow Bowl with Gold Trim. The Limoges Shallow Bowl measures 9.75"W. Both sides of the bowl are not symmetrically the same. The mark that is on the bottom of the bowl indicates that it was made between 1900- 1910 in France. The Limoges Bowl does not have any cracks or chips. It is a really pretty piece with the pinkish/purplish flowers with gold trim around the edge.

Offered is this Antique Limoges Porcelain Four Piece Dresser Set hand decorated in red and green floral with blue border and gilded trim. Pieces include: Covered Trinket Jar and Hair Receiver. Each measuring 4 inches by 4 inches and standing 3 inches tall. Both are marked with the green PL LIMOGES FRANCE back-stamp(Porcelaine Limousine) Dating them 1905 to 1939. Tray. Measuring 5 1/4 by 3 3/8 by 1 inch tall. Its underside is marked T&V LIMOGES FRANCE. This mark was used by Tressemanes& Vogt from 1892 until 1917. Powder Shaker. Measuring 2 1/2 by 1 3/8, standing 4 3/4 inches tall with no makers mark. All pieces are in well cared for condition with no chips. Scratches or repairs and no evident gilt or glaze wear.
