For sale is a 1950s 2 arm industrial Jielde multi angle articulated machine ... morelamp. The aluminium elbows have been polished. The lamp is in working order and comes with 2.4 metres of new flex but not the plug as it is a French one. It is in very good used condition with some very minor signs of use to the reflector's surface. The reflector has its original high temperature painted surface and still has the bulb wattage/voltage sticker intact. The switch is in the base. I have included the lamp's weighted vehicle brake disc base in the sale. These lamps are very sort after and nice examples like this are becoming difficult to find. The photos don't do it justice! The lamp takes a Standard Bayonet cap bulb(B22) which are available at all DIY outlets. Bulb not included. The maximum wattage is 150w. Jielde lamps were designed by Jean-Louis Domecq for direct mounting on machine tools and for use in workshops. The lamps have now become particularly fashionable for use in loft style apartments and in homes generally as desk lamp/floor or wall lamps. So, hence I have fitted a trailing flexible lead to make the light more useable in the home. I have displayed this light using a vehicle brake disc which provides a solid base to show a typical method of mounting the light. Heavy sprockets. Hardwood- anything heavy will do the job. The light can also be fixed to a wall if required using its mounting base/bracket which has 3 holes in it. Although the light isn't heavy, it will require a solid wall and sturdy fixings to mount it as the movement required to adjust the lamp to the desired position will put stress on the mounting. This is an old vintage set of small table linens. It consists of three 10" x 7 1/2" side panels and one 18 1/2" x 10" center piece. They are made of linen and are hand embroidered. I have included photos of portions of the obverse sides that you may see the trailing ends of the hand embroidery. They are clean but appear slightly off-white consistent with the time-aging of cotton. I suppose laudering can restore original whiteness however I nelected to clean them in any way as some purists prefer items in the"as found" condition. They are in very good condition with no tear. Holes or breaks of any kind. I have taken more photos than most but they don't do these pieces justice. Please enlarge them and view them carefully and decide as to their suitabiliy to you. Naïve art, grandfather clocks, folk art, paintings, and much more. Items range from 1700s and 1800s– lots of colonial and early American items. The sale consisted of 608 separate lots, all of which have extensive descriptions, all with full colour photos, and some of them even being full-page photos. Each item has a description, giving details of the ... moreartist or workshop, the work itself, dates, material, and so on. Also details of provenance, and provides an estimated price. This is great for the collector, so you can compare the value of these works with others. Also a great reference, as these artworks were assembled here once, only to be dispersed to different private buyers, most not to be seen in public again for a generation. The colour illustrations are stunning, and it’s like having a gallery or museum on your shelf! A great addition for anyone interested in American history, U.S. art, colonial historical material, and so on. The book is large format, measuring about 8 x 11 inches. It has a glossy cover, and is 484 pages long. The book is used, but in good condition. With only minor shelf wear, the book is in good condition. The glossy pages make this extremely heavy(well over 3 pounds) so the top bidder should add $13.90 postage in Canada, 18.90 postage to the USA.
