This is Large Very Old Black& White Photo of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. I would guess the age to be 1800 to mid 1800's. It's unmarked in any manner. It is lightly faded and yellowed with age as you can see in the photos. However amazingly. The picture its-self is in exceptionally good condition, with only a tiny white spot on the right shoulder and a few other light brown specks or dots scattered thru-out. The actual picture size is 14" X 18"When first received the outside edges were ragged and torn, I have trimmed off these damages to fit the frame. Please use the magnifier to inspect the pictures carefully, they are a very important part of my description. The outside Frame size is 26 X 30 inches. The inside picture size is 16 X 20 inches. I have owned this frame for 30+ years. It was purchased at an estate sale of ... morean elderly couple. They were in their 80's. It was handed down to them. If my memory today is correct} it came from his father or grandfather, They kept the family photo that it used to contain. It's exact age is unknown, but believed to be early 1800's. I have taken photos of every aspect of it's surface front, rear and sides. Use the Magnifier to inspect it closely, it is not perfect, but age appropriate for it's years} It appears to have been painted at some time in it's history, The corner seams have small gaps. Vintage Framed Oil Print The Sacred Heart of Jesus Painting Large Size very NICE
Vintage SACRED HEART Oil Print by artist Charles Bosseron Chambers(1882-1964) This survivor was likely printed by the Edward Gross Co. Inc. New york. Nice large 19 3/4" x 22 3/4" wood framed print from the famous original oil painting. The print itself is 18.5" x 15.5" I suspect this is mid-century. Someone wrote Dec. 1957 on back in pen under the hanger. The artists name is clearly visible. The print has a clear"gesso like" coating on it(you can see it in the images) It appears to be done on a solid masonite type of material. It has a wonderful antique look to it from age. There is one tiny nick on the face you may be able to see in the photo(hardly worth mentioning) The frame is likely the original and very old. It's painted gold. You can see that the paper backing is in taters but all there. There is an ... moreold sticker on back from the gallery with no zip or area codes on it. This makes a great display piece in any home. This is an absolutely magnificent pair of pictures in antique bubble glass frames. They are large pictures that measure approx 22.5 by 16.5 inches from edge to edge on the frame. Both are in great shape. The frames show few signs of wear. There are a few minor nicks and scratches around the back edge. But the fronts look good to me. The detailed elements on the frames add just the right amount of style, and add a little elegance to the pictures. The picture of Jesus itself has a bubble in it where it may have been in the sun. The Mary picture is flat and looks fantastic. Both of them are great overall and look great in the frames. The pictures themselves are beautiful. Mary looks gorgeous in this picture. This is a nice vintage pair of paintings. Both are done on a teal blue background with colors of purple-flesh-light green-blue-red-white and browns. They may need a little cleaning…they were covered in plastic so they are not too bad. Jesus has a crease in the upper left corner. Not too distracting when hanging on a wall. These measure 12 x 16 in the frames…the paintings are 14 x 10. The frames are simple wood and unfinished but sturdy. There are some scratches in the wood. Jesus has a string hanger on the back…the other has none.

Beautiful VINTAGE picture of THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS in it's original ANTIQUE wood carved gold frame. There are no chips or marring of any kind on the frame. Made in Switzerland on the right bottom is prited Imprime en Suisse. There is also a marking on the left bottom. Possibly a copyright but it's difficult to make out. It is 8' x 10" including frame. One spot has a very slight wave ti it barely discernable possibly due to dampness as it was in my storage for awhile. There is no fading of the color. Check pictures to see details. PLAQUE Sacred Heart of Jesus Mirrored Cobalt Blue Glass 1954 Catholic 10" OVAL
You are looking at a vintage mirrored blue glass plaque with a metal Sacred Heart of Jesus in silhouette attached in the center. The Jesus is unknown metal. But know that it was all black and I polished it with silver polish just before I took these photos. So perhaps it is silver plated, but I don't know that and am not an expert in any way. Perhaps there are other metals that turn black, then get shiny with silver polish. The glass is in very good condition.no cracks or chips. There is one area in the center just above Jesus' halo where it is discolored. The back has the original hanger intact and also the green felt on the back is in great condition. This was given to my parents as a wedding present in 1954 and has been hanging on the wall in the master bedroom of their SMOKE FREE home ever since that time. This is a wonderful portrait of the sacred heart that up until recently and still is in many Irish homes. Nice Print In beautiful condition with the dedication to the consecration of the house and family to the sacred heart at the bottom. framed until recently. Comes from a closed Irish Convent/Priory. Victorian Art Hand Painted Sacred HEART of Jesus on Glass Reverse Painting
This piece of frosted glass is reverse painted by hand. It measures 6" square. Each of the four corners have a metal loop with a metal chain connecting them. Th top corner has a little extra chain for hanging while the bottom corner has extra chain hanging decoratively. The paint is on the frosted side of the glass. It is very nicely done with bright colors and very little paint loss. The Sacred Heart is appropriately shown with Forget-me-not flowers. The wall hanging comes from an old RI estate that had many Victorian era pieces. We consider it to be in very nice condition. Thank you for viewing. Emails welcome
