This very high quality Lamson knife was made sometime in the period of 1960's-1970's but is found here in superb condition. Appearing never to have been used. At various times it has been sold as a roast knife, a carving knife a ham knife, a buffet knife, a bread knife, a baker's knife, a sheet cake knife and probably a few other names I'm forgetting right now. No matter WHAT you call it, however, it's an excellent serrated piece that any chef or baker would be happy to wield in even the most demanding kitchen. Of predictable Resistol quality, in a genuine size 7 7/8(EXTRA EXTRA LARGE) with an inside circumference fully 24 1/8" Check out the classic proportions: 1 7/8" welted-edge brim. 5" pinch-front crown. Custom Made True Vintage (1947-1964, Post WWII) XL or XXL Unique Dress!
Gorgeous dress from late 1940's or 50s.authentic vintage. Getting harder and harder to find, especially in larger sizes. This dress is truly unique; it appears to be custom made. It is navy blue, with a navy blue lace overlay lined with a peach fabric in the front bodice and the back yoke. One of the most unique features is the way the sleeves connect with the front bodice, almost creating a cape effect. There is a beautiful long ruffled half peplum in the front and in the back.so pretty! Great lines overall, fitted top with a fuller skirt effect. There are a couple of minor issues: one is the exposed hand stitching in the front at the neckline, about 2 inches; it looks like it was once covered with a brooch or bow, which it can be again. Also, the lace is slightly worn in a few places: around the neck, and in a couple of places on the ... morebodice which could be easily mended.see details in the photos.
