XXL Vintage Swedish Blue Dala Rooster (not horse) 13 1/2" - RARE
Up for auction is a very large dala rooster from Sweden. To the highest part of its comb it measures 13 1/2" tall. Quite rare to find listed on ebay. This rooster has no label but looks like a Nils Olsson. Being older, it has some wear to the paint, mostly on the base, and also on the edges of the beak, comb, and tail. There is a hairline surface crack on the back, a rough patch underneath, as well as minor dings and scrapes throughout. Despite these issues, this rooster displays very well and would make a striking addition to a dala collection. Very large faux butterscotch or egg yolk Amber Tibetan bead. I'm afraid I have no idea about its actual composition. Maybe Bakelite. Especially given its age? All I can tell you is that I purchased it from a beautiful old Tibetan lady in the Tibetan refugee camp near Pokhara, Nepal 25 years ago. It was actually strung with some turquoise chunks that I removed and had added to another necklace. I've never been able to figure out how to use this in another necklace. It looked lovely on her, but washed out on my very fair skintone. Someone with talent could make it the focal point of a beautiful big chunky"tribal" statement necklace. It has a diameter of more than 2.3 inches and a depth of more than 1" Approximately. It weighs a whopping 62 grams.

Adorable True Vintage 1940s XL or XXL Unique Peplum Dress!
Gorgeous dress from late 1940's or 50s.authentic vintage. Getting harder and harder to find, especially in larger sizes. This dress is truly unique; it appears to be custom made. It is navy blue, with a navy blue lace overlay lined with a peach fabric in the front bodice and the back yoke. One of the most unique features is the way the sleeves connect with the front bodice, almost creating a cape effect. There is a beautiful long ruffled half peplum in the front and in the back.so pretty! Great lines overall, fitted top with a fuller skirt effect. There are a couple of minor issues: one is the exposed hand stitching in the front at the neckline, about 2 inches; it looks like it was once covered with a brooch or bow, which it can be again. Also, the lace is slightly worn in a few places: around the neck, and in a couple of places on the ... morebodice which could be easily mended.see details in the photos. very nice vase in double blue white blown glass. Oversized 48 cm with a beautiful form from the 1960's. in perfect condition. I don' know if it is scandinavian art glas like michael bang for Holmegaard or italian glasware like venini(informations is very welcome) The blue is in reality much beautifuller of color as on the pictures. The vase is in excellent condition.
