I’m selling this rod because I have WAY too many rods and need to reduce my stock. This rod comes in a Cabela’s LST cloth covered PVC tube and Sage cloth sleeve. I am not the original owner so I can’t tell you how old it is exactly. But I have had it for about 8 years. This is an old used wood and steel boat wheel we found in boat salvage yard. This one was used for steering of an old boat. This one measures 12+3/4 inches across. It has a hole for a 11/16 inch shaft or bolt! The wood parts have some wear cracks and scuffs. The metal could use a good cleaning or polishing! Looks like someone gave it a fake bronze or gold paint job. This wheel is used and worn but would be great for reuse or decorating a nautical room.
