For Sale: A Shirley Temple Picture Story from the New York World-Telegram June 21. 1937. I guess she tripped over a light cord on a Hollywood movie set and fell, struck her pretty head on a projector as she fell. She had a small bruise by her left eye. They wanted to make it more of a story so they her sunglasses to wear saying that behind the glasses is a black eye. There is a lot of wear on the cover and the front cover has separated from the body of the book. The front inside cover page is missing. The first page is an illustration of the Madonna and there are two small tears in the edges but they don't go into the actual image. Plus there is a small ink squiggle on the back but it can't be seen from the front of the picture. There is a small tear in the title page and initials in ink on the content page. Otherwise the pages are clean and tight in the binding. I don't see any marks or tears on the pages.

The sale is for this period Art Deco locket. It is 14K gold and quite substantial at over 28 grams. It measures app 1 5/16" by 1 1/16" and is in very good condition. Now for the story.
