Up for your consideration is a great hardcover book with the jacket published in 1946 titled"Two Thousand Miles of Gold" by author J.B. MacDougall. This is a real life story about the birth of a town called Cobalt in Canada and the building of their railroad and the mining of silver and gold. The book measures 6 1/4" x 8 3/4" It has 234 pages and it includes vintage photo`s. One of the cool things about it is that the person who bought this inscribed it saying he bought the book at Kirkland Lake, Ontario in 1949 and then signed it.
