But was repaired well( it's hard to tell) the tip of the feather in his cap has a portion torn off(I guess this is pressed paper, not wood? the far bottom corners and bottom edge of the books have some paper and paint issues, this does not effect its stability- in the one photo it shows where the very top of the paper has separated to a small degree(this should not affect the piece in the future if not toyed with) right foot has some minor edge paint missing as well- BACKSIDE the stains that the photos show for his back head is not at all dark in reality; there is a curl outward on backside where his hair twists; a few other minor pushes on backside- all in all I would call this vintage piece to be in G to AG condition(minus the hand that was repaired so well) I believe this to have been done by the same company that did the little boy and mule, The Dolly Toy Company, named by them as a"Character Fairy Tale Pin Up" This Pinocchio is simply marked"Copyright 1951- Walt Disney Productions" It stands at 14 3/4" top of hair to tip of left toe- book corner to finger tip is 12 3/8" width of the figure is 5/32"the hanger hole is highly good. Protected in a new mylar sleeve. The book is clean with minor rubbing at the edges and points. The binding is firm and unbroken; the pages are clean and unmarked. This book came from a Vermont auction. It is- Dry-Fly Fishing by F.M. Halford. Published by Barry Shurlock& Co. 1973 reprint from the first edition of 1889- Field& Stream club edition. The book consists of 288 pages with 26 plates. It is a hardcover with dust jacket and a thin plastic covering. The book measures 9 1/2 by 6 3/8 inches. The dust jacket and plastic covering have plenty of wear with some discoloration, small tearing, and creasing. The book is in good condition. The hardcover is in good shape. The spine ends have some wear. The inside is stamped with the previous owner's name, see the 9th picture. He has also written his name, address, and date in pencil on the first page of the book. There is a small edge crease that goes back about 67 pages, see the last picture, otherwise in good shape.

This hardcover book with slip jacket is titled"Space Of Akari and Stone" and the text is in English and Japanese. Published by Libro and probably printed in Japan. The cover and end pages are on fiber/textured paper. It is from an exhibition showing Noguchi's lamps and sculptures together. The book is in A+ condition, the slip cover edges are a little worn. I personally purchased this book at the Noguchi Museum and Gardens in Long Island in 1985 or 86 while Mr. Noguchi was still alive. I asked the clerk in the museum if Mr Noguchi was there and would sign it. I witnessed him signing it and I guarantee its' authenticity. Mr Noguchi died in 1988 and the signature is quite shaky due to his advanced age at the time.

The book itself is black with gold lettering on the spine, as seen in the photos. It comes with a paper dust jacket with full color artwork. It measures ... moreapproximately 5.75 x 8.5 inches, and is 1.4 inches thick. Condition: First let me say that I am very meticulous about condition. Because I am a picky collector, and I know that others may be just as interested as I am in the tiny details of an item's appearance. Since this is a used item, I like to mention even the smallest flaws so that you can be sure you're purchasing exactly the item you want. The book itself is in excellent condition. The pages are crisp and new. And most importantly not faded or yellowed. There is one flaw in the book that I can find: the vertical edge of the pages has a grayish smudge that measures 1 inch long. I have taken a picture of this so you can see it clearly. This is a minor defect, but worth mentioning. The dust jacket has some minor shelf wear. And I would describe it as being in bewteen very good and excellent condition. There are some superficial marks on the front cover artwork and the black back side, which you can only see if you hold the book under direct light.
