Offering up an Absolutely Beautiful antique French Sterling Silver Needle case for bids here. The piece is Gold Gilded and Finely Engraved. Features two hallmarks. One is the makers mark. Which is CTB inside of a diamond. The other looks to be the Boars head. it is way too small for me to make it out clearly. I would guess this is from around the 1880's. Remains in Fantastic condition. Measures about 2- 5/8" long. Comes in a Sweet little Blue leather covered box. There was once a name printed under the lid in gold lettering, but is pretty much all worn off, and I can't make it out. The latch works perfectly, and has a lovely smell of a fine perfume. not too strong) This is a Wonderful find and is quite a treasure for your collection.
