Today I will be offering vintage real photo& litho postcards from an unpicked estate collection I bought recently. It was the life long collection of Miriam Savory of Warner. NH. Mr Fred Savory(her father, I believe) owned a small hardware/general store in Warner around the turn of the last century. The family took many photos of the Warner& Sunapee area and had them printed as postcards. Some of these are unidentified, and some are quite possibly unique images. Mrs Savory would take these cards with her while on vacation and use them for mailing home instead of buying new ones. There are thousands of cards in this collection. While there are some nice local cards, most are from other places, sent to Miriam by freinds and relatives for her collection. The surface of the card is textured. Iroquois is in Beadle and Kingsbury Counties. There is a logo on back that says ZIM. I've seen other cards with this logo that are published by H.G. Zimmerman& Co. Chicago. But this one only has the logo. Card is written on by has not been stamped or mailed. Card is addressed to: Mr. Albert Haese. Manitowoc, Wis.
