Beautiful 48 piece vintage lot of table linens. Huge variety of shapes. Sizes, design, materials. Many have a crochet trim, a few lace, hand stitched designs, hand painted designs. A few may have a light discoloration or spot or a loose thread, I did not notice any holes. To give an idea of size I have measured one piece from each picture. Pic(1) the rectangular piece with dogs measures 16.5" x 11" Pic(2) the long runner measures 41" x 14" Pice(3) the runner at left measures 37" x 14.5" Pic(4) the lace piece at top measures 31.5" x 14" Pic(5) the round piece in center measures 10" diameter. Here we have 5 old table runners/ table covers. I will be describing them based on the 1st photo(left to right) 36"x 13.5" crocheted accent edging with solid white fabric in the middle. Rectangular, a few holes in the edging and middle and I've taken up close photos of them 48" x 14" looks like embroidery. Floral patterns and swirls, rectangular, rounded at each end 36.5" x 14" embroidery. Colored floral patterns, edge embroidery, staining on one end, a few holes, see up close photos 32" x 32" crocheted. Staining, and discoloration floral pattern in the middle 19" x 19" solid white fabric. Lace accents, some sort of pattern sewn on that has glittery silver fabric They are not brittle but are ripped in places and stains in some. The pink& blue crochet one is 20 1/2" by 7" and has a great pattern, the larger white eyelet one is 40" by 12" and has hearts& flowers in the design, and the small white lace cut out one is 20" by 9 1/2" The only flaw that I could see is the pink crochet has a very light spot on one of the blue diamond patterns and the brown one has a 1" slit in the seam of the fabric that could be stitched. They have all been packed away in a smoke free home for many years.

Vintage Filet Crochet Table Runners Monogram Parrots Victorian Butterflies
Up for your consideration are two very nice vintage white table/dresser runners with hand crocheted filet lace. The larger runner measures 19 3/4" wide by 39" long and has a nice white crocheted edging. There is a center front filet crocheted monogram/initial insert. I'm not positive. But I see the initials as MPT. The front corners are embellished with filet crocheted butterfly inserts. There are three little what I call nubs, or raised places in the thread of the fabric, one of which may be a tiny mend because it feels harder than the other two. I have captured it in a picture. The second runner is much smaller, measures 15" X 17" and is really more of a doily size. There are for insets of a parrot on a perch measuring 2 1/4" X 4" each on all four corners. This little runner also has a white hand crocheted ... moreedge. There are three flaws in the parrot runner: a long raised thread area in the fabric about 3 inches long, some purple stamped lettering close to the crochet edging measuring about 1/3/4" and a very faint yellow storage fold line, which was so light it is impossible to picture. The other two flaws are both pictured above. The yellowish fold line was not treated, and will probably come out with a good soak. Both runners have been gently hand washed, air dried, and pressed with a little spray starch. Please study the pictures carefully, and I would be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

I am pretty sure this one was done by my grandmother who was born in the late 1880's. Again. I can only assume it was done prior to the 1950's.
