The book is written in old Italian and I can not swear about the content since I dont read Italian. The title page is written in Latin. Here we have an unusual and rare Silver Plated. Vintage collectable spoon with a blue and white porcelain or similar decoration to the handle depicting Venice, Italy. I have been unable to locate another example! It is clearly stamped EPNS(Electro Plated Nickel Silver) Sheffield England to the reverse of the stem and has been sympathetically and professionally cleaned by my Mother. A retired ANtique Restorer and Jeweller. The piece measures 13.4 cms long and weighs a sturdy 35 grammes. Which is heavier than most such collectable spoons. Wear is minimal other than very light scratching to the bowl. Having handled and sold many such spoons, I've seen very few in such good condition.
