Vintage Geological Tasco Microscope With Original Oak Box & 36 Mineral Specimens
This vintage Tasco 30x geological microscope is in great shape with the original solid oak box with JAPAN stamped on the inside lower edge. The 3 drawers have the original bakelite pulls. But the box has a crack down the back and all the paper with the minerals, origin, and basic uses is all there but the paper with the 13-24 minerals is missing half of it(19-24) The 36 minerals listed are all there and almost all of them have their numbers to identify them to the list but, 2, 4, 6, 15, and 16 are missing their labels but we still have the minerals. The Tasco Stereo microscope works great but the left eye piece moves more freely, the microscope has Japan painted on the back. Antique Early 1900's E. Leitz Wetzlar Polished Brass Microscope w/ Case + More
This is a Antique E. Leitz brass microscope. The microscope has many polished brass parts and it appears to me to be complete and original. But I am not familiar with microscopes so please view the pictures to judge for yourself. Included is some original accessories, including 2 brass cases for the lenses, and some sort of brass rod with a threaded end. The case included does fit the microscope, but I do not be-leave it to be original to the scope, it looks like a newer case used to keep the microscope safe. Still a great collector and conversation piece for any medical collector. All parts on the microscope move freely and smoothly, and nothing appears to be broken, bend, or repaired.

MICROSCOPE. ELEGANT VICTORIAN BRASS BULLS-EYE CONDENSER
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE ELEGANT VICTORIAN BRASS BULLS-EYE CONDENSER I have the pleasure of offering an elegant Victorian brass bulls-eye condenser for the microscope. A stand-alone condenser was an indispensable accessory for working with the limited light sources available to Victorian microscopists. Some microscopes had a bulls-eye condenser attached to the microscope tube by means of an articulate arm; those that didn’t. Which were in the majority, depended on the help of condensers as the one offered here. This condenser consists of a base. A pillar, an arm, and an intermediate piece that connects the arm with the pillar. The weighted base is 8 cm wide, and shows decorative circles on its upper surface. The pillar is 20.4 cm tall; the arm is 13.7 cm long and holds the brass ring that encircles a lens 5 cm in diameter. ... moreThe horizontal intermediate piece is 5 cm long and has a milled-head knob at each end. The function of the intermediate piece is to hold the arm at the desired height, and to secure the lens at the desired angle(please, see pictures) The whole can be easily taken apart for storage or shipping. The condition of the brass is very good to excellent for an object more than 100 years old; noticing some light surface corrosion in a few small spots(see photographs) The lens is in perfect condition. This is a no return auction. Please see the photographs and ask questions before bidding. Thanks and good luck!

Rare E. Lertz Wetzlar No. 23120 Microscope
Nice Vintage E. Leitz Wetzlar Microscope No. 23120 on the Scope Base. This scope is one of the early Wetzlar scopes. This piece has a smooth glide action. It is tarnished and appears that it possibly has been painted black over some of the brass parts above the lenses(but not sure) It has a hose like turning knob at the back and the instrument raises and lowers easily. The optics are marked"Bausch& Lomb. Please see the pictures for detail. I am not very knowledgeable about this piece but am familiar with modern scopes so can probably answer directed questions as needed. This scope does not have a case. It has a base it attaches to but needs the screws to set it. It also had a steel base(last pictured) when we got. Which may or may not have gone with it. This piece would be heavy to ship but I will if the winner desires to have it ... moretoo and feels it is part of the original scope. This item will ship to the lower 48 US states only. OLD Antique FOTH Doctors Office MEDICAL Microscope CAST IRON Base In WOOD CASE
THIS IS AN OLD MEDICAL MICROSCOPE FROM A DOCTORS OFFICE. I AM NOT SEEING ANY NAME ON THE MICROSCOPE BUT THE PAPERS INSIDE THE BOX IDENTIFY IT AS A FOTH MICROSCOPE. MODEL A. THE PAPER TELLS HOW TO USE IT. THE BASE ON THIS MICROSCOPE IS VERY HEAVY SO I THINK IT MAY BE CAST IRON OR VERY HEAVY MATERIAL OF SOME SORT. THIS MEASURES 10 INCHES TALL. IT IS IN A REALLY NEAT OLD WOODEN CRATE BOX THAT IT CAME IN.
