Antique 1960's Bausch and Lomb Binocular microscope
This microscope is fully functional. But in transit from college it appears the other end of power supply was lost, it has the bulb socket with 2 pinned cord,but it is not a plug,it appears it needs to get plugged into another device,transformer first so if you are a hobbyist and or already may have these parts this microscope is for you, or if you want to purchase this remaining piece on your own. everything else is here, it is well made,clean and works great. very well preserved. The objectives included are: 3.5x 10x 43x and 100xoil. Notice in the first picture the power cord attached to light socket in back, that needs to get plugged into something else.

Antique Bausch & Lomb Optical Microscope 1915 in Original Case w/ Extras
A beautiful brass microscope made by Bausch& Lomb Optical of Rochester. NY. Patent date is Jan 5, 1915. The three objective lenses are 1.9mm, 4mm, and 16mm. There is also a metal box with a glass pipette and some other items, and slots with black cases that I believe are for holding the lenses. A glass bottle is in the box, too, although I don't know what it was used for. Thanks for looking, and I'll do my best to answer any questions you may have.

The microscope is made of steel and brass and it has a very unusual design with two cut glass prisms that lead up to a single eye piece at the top. It has a very unusual sleeve that slides over the entire microscope to prevent the delicate optics and the back has a handle. Made by the Bausch& Lomb Optical Company and it’s number 1601. It measures about 10¾" tall and is guaranteed old. Nice piece! The light reflecting mirror at the bottom has some corrosion and wear. It is an original microscopes and comes with it original wooden case with 2 glass and extra lenses(see picture) Everything are original except the key lock on the wooden case. Bausch& Lomb Immigrating to the United States from Germany in middle of the 19th century. Jacob Bausch and Henry Lomb began their association by manufacturing eyeglasses. Initially manufacturing single lens microscopes. They graduated to producing compound microscopes in 1874. They used different methods for focusing the instrument: a crew thread focus control on the nose end of the barrel. Later discontinued in 1878, a draw tube similar to several other manufacturers and a rack and pinion system. Manufactured in 1876. This is a very cool World War I era antique/vintage Bausch& Lomb microscope acquired from the University of Colorado. Boulder. Ocular, lenses, and body are label'Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Rochester, NY. This unit has a cast iron body and I believe the rest of it brass, though some of it has been enameled black. One of the lenses is labeled 170mm and the other 16mm. Light passes through the optics, but that is the extent of my testing. 93' is etched into the side of the ocular and stenciled onto the base. Table has a small crack on the side. Vintage Bausch& Lomb Antique Brass Microscope Circa 1899 The pictures do not do justice to the way this instrument gleams! All the movements move freely with no binding or sticky spots. The Irises on the condenser move freely as well. The bottom iris looks like it is missing a couple of the leaves, there is what appears to be one of them that was in the drawer of the case. It is shown in one of the pictures. The Case is in good shape. But it is showing it's age, the cabinet does lock and includes a key. I have added a shipping charge to this due to the extra care that is needed to package this securely to ensure it will arrive safely also to cover the extra charges due to it's weight.

There is some corrosion to the brass and painted surfaces in places. This microscope appears to be a bar limb design. I do not see a serial number on the microscope. But do see the number"37" impressed on the bottom of the stand. The objective has Bausch& Lomb impressed on it and"tube length 8.5" I can see Bausch& Lomb on the eye lens, but not a strength The mirror at the bottom of the scope is two sided. Not cracked or blistered, but the mirroed surface does show some wear. The glass for the lens and objective are dusty and may have some minor scratching. I see no blistered cracked or missing glass in the lenses or objectives. The microscope is 11.75" tall. By 4-1/8" across, by 6.5" wide. Vintage unopened small bottle of Cedar Oil by Bausch& Lomb. Of Rochester, NY, dating from circa mid 1930s. The bottle is 2 ¼ inch tall, with a diameter of approx 7/8 of an inch, a size that makes it suitable for storage in the usual rack for objectives found in vintage microscope cases. It is wrapped in a brown see-through paper. The label says"cedar oil immersion objective" fill the dispensing bottle about a quarter to half full of cedar oil. If the bottle is more than half full. Wonderful antique Bausch& Lomb double pillar microscope- possible circa 1880s. Everything works and the microscope is fully functional. The scope stands ~15.5 inches tall with the tube fully extended. The fine focus is on the bottom of the stage. The mirror has some silvering- see photos and the black lacquer on the base is worn in places. There is one B&L objective marked 1/2. The brass. However shines and looks great. Vintage Bausch& Lomb laboratory microscope with. The microscope is marked 236357. The microscope appears to be in good condition but I'm not sure how to use it so it is being sold as is. All parts seem to move correctly. When looking through the top lens I did see a crack in the glass. I'm not sure which glass is cracked. So please note that there is a crack when you look through the top. Other than that it appears to be pretty good cosmetically but does show some signs of age and wear and needs cleaned. Please view the pictures for details. The microscope comes with multiple lenses including a 19mm 91x oil immersion lens. A 16mm 10x divisible lens and a 4mm lens. This piece is very heavy. Antique Vintage Bausch & Lomb Jug Handle Microscope with some Nickle Plating
Antique Bausch& Lomb jug handle microscope with very nice Spencer mechanical stage. Serial number looks to be 66590. Which makes its age around 1907. This is a unique microscope because the fine and course focus nobs are nickle plated. The rest of the microscope is brass except for the base. The mirror has some minor silvering and the black lacquer shows some wear. The Spencer stage works well, the sub stage condenser is clear, and the sub stage iris works well. The three objectives are B&L and the scope comes with a 10X eye piece. This is a great fully functional jug handle microscope and will make a wonderful addition to any collection.

The Case has a hole in the front(from what I do not know) and also there is no key for the lock. There is some other marks in the wood on the case. It also has some glass slides and a empty cover glasses box. See Pictures) It has Bausch Lomb Optical Pat Aug 24. 97 stamped on the microscope. Has a serial# 81547 and was made in Rochester New York. This auction is for an amazing early Bausch& Lomb Universal brass microscope with original mahogany case. Additional lenses and accessories. This has the earlier one line patent on the side. There is an original B& L cardboard card for magnifying combinations that identify this as microscope number 3316. The scope is in great condition with no dents or scratches. The varnish is crazed in some areas. There are spots of tarnish as well. I will not clean the microscope. I will let the winning bidder decide on the finish. Everything moves easily with precision. It has four Carl Zeiss Jena eyepieces(1. 2, 3, and 6(Compens Ocular) and an adapter for them. The six needs to have the bottom lens reinserted. It looks like the retaining ring was bent. The lens has no issues. It also has five B& L eyepieces(two bases are labeled A and two ... moreare labeled C, and one labeled D but the lenses are etched A, 1, D, and unetched) There is a C base with no upper that is different from the other four. There are four objective lenses(3/4, 1/5, 1/6, and 4/10) with brass cases. There is a B& L rotating"shutter" piece(pic. 8) that when rotated closed metal shutter in the small hole. A brass adapter for an eyepiece? A dual stage adapter for the objectives. Also included is a rare example of a James L. This BAUSCH& LOMB MODEL R MICROSCOPE is in excellent condition and works perfectly. The only thing you are missing are the hold downs for the slide. Bit it works perfectly well without them. The adjustment knob has very smooth action and it's easy to focus. This is the type of microscope which used to be issued to schools so it's pretty durable. On the base is the#13 marked in reds(from its classroom days) It's in its original walnut box. And front is curly walnut with a very attractive grain. Box 7 and half inches by 5 and half inches. Course and fine focus mechanisms move smoothly and focus to a crystal-clear view. Optics are clear and sharp with great color and contrast. The plano-concave mirror is excellent on both sides. The instrument is finished in lacquered brass and painted black brass. The two objectives are engraved with Bausch& Lomb and the following: 4 mm 0.85 and 16 mm 0.25 N.A. You are bidding on this Antique Brass Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Microscope with 2 lenses. It measures about 11 1/2 inches high when adjusted all the way down. Marked on the back knob is Pat. Feb 16 1897. On the eyepiece lens top is 7.5& in a triangle B-L Z S. The eyepiece is in very good condition. Both sides of the bottom mirror look fine. There are some marks and scratches on the brass throughout but it looks pretty good. The part that turns and the lenses screw into has a black paint coating on top of the brass. The black is flaking off in spots. The one lens is marked 1/6 and that's it. The other brass lens has"Bausch& Lomb Optical Co Rochester N.Y. 16mm 0.25 N.A. The lenses need lightly cleaned. Beautiful brass antique microscope Bausch Lomb with case lenses
Up for bids is a wonderful brass and enamel microscope from a local estate. It come in the original case. The lenses are original and come with the small containers as well. The microscope is about 14" tall. All the moving parts move as they should. The box is worn and could stand some re-gluing. There is some wear to the scope as shown. Displays beautifully. Vintage Bausch & Lomb Microscope 282199 with Light Source
I have a vintage Bausch& Lomb microscope that has been stored for many years in a storage shed. The microscope has a number on the front: 282199- possible 40's– 50’s. All knobs work freely and lenses look alright. The adjusting plate knob(two knobs exist side by side on the plate area) outside knob appears to be bent. But still works perfect. Microscope used to be part of the Arkansas State Board of Health. And is marked this in three areas(see Pics. Top lens is marked W10X-15.5MM. Bottom three are 97X. 43X, and 10X. Microscope is dirty here and there. And needs to be cleaned. Also included is a working light source 120v lamp with an on/off switch– all works. And lights up as shown. Microscope is 13 inches tall. Base is 4 1/4 inches. 2 Objectives, 2/3& 1/12. Eyepiece is marked#1. Pivots at base. Condenser(aperature does work) light source mirror. It is missing the rear adjusting knob which would have the patten date on it. One similar read patten date 1897. Also missing one of the slide holder clips. This is a vintage Bausch and Lomb/Fisher Scientific microscope however I cannot figure out the age. It was in poor storage for many uears and the reflective mirror has corrosion and is displaced from its plate. Some surface rust on the scope body but you can see light when you look into it.
