This is one of the more rare Bausch& Lomb American Type microscope models. It was only manufactured over just a brief 3-year period from 1889 to 1891. The featured instrument is very similar in design to the B&L“The Model” microscope. But it lacks the rack and pinion focus mechanism and is built upon a horseshoe shaped foot with rectangular pillars instead of the“Y”shaped foot with round pillars that characterized“The Model. This instrument bears the name of the manufacturer in fancy script on the top rear face of the circular stage. Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Please see the accompanying close-up image of this inscription) However, this instrument does not bear a typical serial number. For some unknown reason, Bausch& Lomb did not inscribe serial numbers on their earlier microscopes. Instead, they stamped the serial number of the instrument in the front lip of the floor of the wood case that they normally supplied with the microscope. Fortunately, the Cherry wood case that accompanies this instrument has the serial number stamped into the front floor of the case(see close-up image) The serial number“6890” dates the instrument to the year 1889, which plac

Antique CENCO Central Scientific Co. Laboratory Trolley
Up for grabs is a piece of cast-iron laboratory equipment(trolley? made by CENCO. Also known as the Central Scientific Co. The label on the trolley reads, Central Scientific Co. Chicago U.S.A. CENCO Laboratory Apparatus and markings in the iron read"84" on one set of wheels and"83" in the body of the trolley. A marking reading"UW 132 A 249" is painted in white on one side of the body, most likely an identification marking from the University of Wisconsin at Madison where it was probably used to conduct motion experiements in physics courses. The trolley measures 6.25" long, 2.75" wide, and stands 1.75" tall. Judging from the appearance, this piece of equipment was probably manufactured during the early 1900's. Antique Early 1900's E. Leitz Wetzlar Polished Brass Microscope w/ Case + More
This is a Antique E. Leitz brass microscope. The microscope has many polished brass parts and it appears to me to be complete and original. But I am not familiar with microscopes so please view the pictures to judge for yourself. Included is some original accessories, including 2 brass cases for the lenses, and some sort of brass rod with a threaded end. The case included does fit the microscope, but I do not be-leave it to be original to the scope, it looks like a newer case used to keep the microscope safe. Still a great collector and conversation piece for any medical collector. All parts on the microscope move freely and smoothly, and nothing appears to be broken, bend, or repaired.

OLD Antique FOTH Doctors Office MEDICAL Microscope CAST IRON Base In WOOD CASE
THIS IS AN OLD MEDICAL MICROSCOPE FROM A DOCTORS OFFICE. I AM NOT SEEING ANY NAME ON THE MICROSCOPE BUT THE PAPERS INSIDE THE BOX IDENTIFY IT AS A FOTH MICROSCOPE. MODEL A. THE PAPER TELLS HOW TO USE IT. THE BASE ON THIS MICROSCOPE IS VERY HEAVY SO I THINK IT MAY BE CAST IRON OR VERY HEAVY MATERIAL OF SOME SORT. THIS MEASURES 10 INCHES TALL. IT IS IN A REALLY NEAT OLD WOODEN CRATE BOX THAT IT CAME IN.
Large Glass Beaker Antique/Vintage 16 oz 8" X 4 1/4" Heat-resistant? Molded FINE
Large Glass Beaker Antique/Vintage 16 oz 8" X 4 1/4" Heat-resistant? Molded FINE Here is one unique item! For apothecary. Laboratory or medicinal use. Has pour spout. Very thick beaker, pedestal base with molded graduations on the inside and and on the bottom of the base. I tried for a half-hour to read the writing on the base with little luck. It clearly states"J.M. M- There is another area which says"PAT" for either patent number or patent pending. Based on the font used. I would gues this is from the turn of th 20th century. There is a very unusual marking above the graduations, which looks like"Lb" and a symbol which might indicate heat( Perhaps this was an early Pyrex-type glass? In any event. A very, very nice specimen that will display extremely well. box4]

Glass rods Chemistry Antique/Vintage Stir 12" Black tips Lot of 2 Probably from the mid-century. But that is only a guess. THREE rods included. box4]
Pedestal Glass Beaker Antique/Vintage 16 oz 7" X 3" Beta Scale Molded FINE
Pedestal Glass Beaker Antique/Vintage 16 oz 7" X 3" Beta Scale Molded FINE Here is one unique item! For apothecary. Laboratory or medicinal use. Has pour spout. Fairly thin-walled, pedestal base with molded graduations on the outside. Age is hard for me to assess, the number of bubbles in the glass tells me it is closer to antique status, but the font may be later. I leave this to the collector. States on lip that it uses the Beta Scale and has ABCDE marks after the 16 mark. No condition issues. Has a number of imbedded bubbles in the glass. box4]

Antique brass single lens field microscope
Please read carefully the following report. The figures are an integral part of this description. Offered for auction is a unique and very interesting antique brass single lens microscope. Probably made in the mid-19th century. The microscope comes with a nice case. I don't know if it originally belonged to it(but this way I bought it) I add to it two contemporaneous small frame French-made slides mounted by the Bourgogne Brothers. The last photo is of a flea from one of these slides, as seen through this microscope. There are several similar microscopes in existing collections(like that of the Royal Microscopical Society) But none is identical. It seems that such field microscopes were made in small numbers and with great variability. SHIPPING(please read carefully! Shipping is made promptly(within a day) after receiving cleared payment ... moreby EMS(Express Mailing Service) PLEASE NOTE: sometimes items are held by the customs for longer periods of time. In the very unlikely case of a problem. Please do not open a case against me before contacting me first! You will be provided with the tracking number to follow the item and I will sort out any delay and refund you in full in case of any reasonable loss. I emphasize this issue. Although it happened to me only once(as compared with over 150 successful transactions as a seller) Please be patient, as it is beyond my powers to control the customs in your country. In my experience, usually there are no problems of this kind but here and there they may occur. Shipping charges: I DO NOT OVERCHARGE FOR SHIPPING! Nor do I charge for the often expensive packing materials and handling. Which I do with great care. Because eBay does not allow multiple shipping fees, I must specify a high fee. However I will refund you immediately for any excessive sum. Exactly to the true shipping fee.
