Antique English Ceramic Pitcher George V & Queen Mary 1911
C 1911 China Pitcher commemorating the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary. The portraits on the front of the pitcher show a very young King and Queen. Their portraits are oval in shape. Nicely framed with gold, flags, a crown and their coat of arms. Nicely done! It has a pink colored base and there is some of the original gold on the pitcher lip. It has a nicely shaped handle. There are no cracks in the pitcher, but on the very bottom there are some small chips and rough areas. On the very bottom on the pink there two small areas that may have had an old chip repaired. 1935 George V & Queen Mary Silver Jubilee Silver Medallion Boxed Official Issue
Please note that the photographs show the medallion as being larger than it is in reality. Produced to commemorate the Silver Jubilee Of King George V 1910 to 1935. This is an official issue. Presented in cardboard box with dates of the event and a King's crown to the top. The medallion sitting in a light blue insert. All the details are in crisp, raised relief. To the front is a head and shoulders portrait of King George and Queen Mary, with, around the inside rim: VI MAII MCMX MCMXXXV; to the right of George's shoulder are the engraver's initials in tiny letters: PM. To the other side is an image of a castle on a rocky outcrop with. On the inside top rim: STET FORTUNA DOMUS(Let The Fortune Of The House Stand' Again. Antique English Ceramic Cup George V & Queen Mary 1911
A pottery cup. With coronation date of June 22, 1911 commemorating the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary. This cup was manufactured by C T Maling& Sons, Ford Potteries, New Castle upon Tyne with their trade mark. It was a souvenir of New Castle upon Tyne, city and county and lists Alderman Sir W H Stephenson the Lord Mayor and Councillor R M Millican, Sheriff. Really great portraits of the king and queen with flags, laurel leaves around their picture, shamrocks, roses and thistles-all the symbols of Great Britain. Nice coat of arms with the date above and a crown. Very, Very nice! No cracks or crazing. It is 3.5 inches tall and 3.25 inches diameter at the top rim. Up for sale the 1985 1911 King George V& Queen Mary Coronation Miniature Rare Pottery Mug. On the outer side one can see portrait of King George V. Queen Mary and between them GB crown with wording“Crowned June 22 nd. 1911” Makers mark“S” on the base. There is a chance that this mug was manufactured not in GB but in one of the colonies this mug came to me from South Africa. No data or photo was found about this mug. Commemorative King George Queen Mary Coronation Medal Pin Ribbon June 22nd 1911
Vintage commemorative Cor onation medal for King George and Queen Mary from June 22nd. 1911. The medal is still attached to a piece of a card stating such. Probably so ld as an inexpensive souvenir as it is made from a lightweight gold-tone me tal. The medal features a bar shaped arrow tipped pin top with a purple ribbon and the medal itself has 2 cherubs holding the crown over George V's head. It says GEORGE V REX MP( underneath the si lhouette and a tiny registration number on the back. It measures 3" long from the top of the pin part to the bottom of the medal. The medal is approx. 1" in diameter. It shows it age w ith so me corrosion and wear to the fabric of the ribbon. Probably produced in England. B ut I don't know for sure.
