This piece is in excellent condition free of any chips or flea bites. Vintage Queen Mary Pink Depression Glass 2 Cups and 1 Saucer
Terrific vintage pink depression glass two cups and one saucer in Hocking's Queen Mary pattern. Cups measure 2-1/2" tall x 3-1/2" diameter at top excluding handle. Saucer measures 6" diameter. Note that saucer does not have indentation for cup. These are used pieces of vintage depression glass and are not like brand new. No chips or cracks. But all three pieces have light but visible scratches/utensil marks consistent with moderate use and handling. Saucer has large and very visible approx. 6" circular straw mark on back side. LOT OF 15, VNTG ANCHOR HOCKING QUEEN MARY, PINK DEPRESSION, BERRY/DESSERT BOWLS
VINTAGE. PINK DEPRESSION ANCHOR HOCKING QUEEN MARY PATTERN 15 BERRY OR SMALL DESSERT BOWLS These are just a few of the many pieces of depression glass that have been packed away in my friends. Old family home, for 45+ years. Before that, at her Grandmothers! I am not an expert in depression glass, so I will describe them as I see them.Honestly! These Berry Bowls have straight sides as can be seen in the photos. They measure 4" in diameter and 1 3/4" tall. Okay. So I washed and dried each bowl so I could determine the individual condition issues. There may be 2-3 bowls that look to have never been used. Most of the bowls have faint use marks. Many of the bowls have a cloudiness deep in the concave vertical grooves, but only in a section, not all over. Now, on 4-5 bowls, I've been able to wipe away a lot of it with a damp paper ... moretowel. I didn't continue with the rest of the bowls. I tend to think this is dust or soap residue instead of depression glass cloudiness, but I can't swear to it! It may be old glass cloudiness. Regardless, it just isn't that bad, and you have to hold the bowl up to the light to see it. On a few bowls there is some cloudiness unrelated to what I've just described! I found no chips or cracks. They may have some normal abnormalities such as crisp seams. Glass bumps, air bubbles, but I see no chips, cracks or notable damage. In the photos. The difference in color is due to the flash. This pink depression glass is made by Anchor Hocking and is the Queen Mary Pattern. Made from 1936 to 1949. This glass is in excellent condition. This listing includes the 4" Round Bowl and the 6" Bread and Butter Plate. The round bowl has a small flea bite on one of the vertical flutes and the makings of a small chip at the top of one of the flutes. However, the Bread and Butter Plate is in flawless condition. Here today for your consideration we're proud to offer this lovely set of six pink glass dinner plates from the Queen Mary glassware line by Anchor Hocking. Queen Mary was produced from about 1936 until sometime in 1949. It's a pressed glass pattern with design motif of prismatic ribs that catch the light for a beautiful optic effect. Our plates measure about 9.875" in diameter. The lot consists of a set of six matching pieces. A close look here shows these plates to be in excellent condition. All are free from any chips. Up for auction is a vintage Queen Mary cup. I am estimating it from the 1960's. It belonged to my mother who has past away and I do not collect these type of collectibles. I have looked at others like this cup and I have noticed the gold rims on both the top and bottom are in excellent condition. The gold on the handle is in also excellent condition. It measures 17 inches or 43 cm high. And is 8 inches or 20.5 cm at its widest. This antique Santos carving shows Mary Queen of Heaven standing on a low footed base. She is shown standing on a flowing cloud with two angels beside her. Mary wears long flowing robes in blue and red with large gold red flowers and her hands are tying the gold string for her robes. The condition of the Santos is very good; she has age appropriate wear to the polychrome patina. There is some minor wear to the gesso on the base. And a old repair to the wood. Anchor Hocking PINK Depression Glass 3 BOWLS Queen Mary Vertical Ribbed Sides
This auction is for a lot of THREE(3) Pink Depression Glass bowls which we believe are Anchor Hocking in the QUEEN MARY or Vertical Rib pattern. Each of the bowls feature a ribbed side design and the 2 larger bowls have Oyster Pearl desiged handles. The smaller bowl(which may be a different pattern- we're not sure) has slightly different little side handles. The larger bowls measure 1-7/8 inches tall and measure 5-7/8 inches across the handles and 4-3/4 inches across the top opening. The smaller bowl(such a little cutie) measures 1-1/2 inches tall and 4-3/4 inches across the handles and 3-3/4 inches across the opening. Each is in lovely condition free from nicks. Chips or cracks. This is a very beautiful two piece cup set in the"Queen Mary" pattern produced by the Anchor-Hocking Glass from 1936 to 1949. These pieces are pink in color and each measures 2-1/8" in height. These pieces are the rare pointed handle varity and are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks that we have detected. These pieces retail for $20 per set in antique shops. Th is pair of vintage double candlesticks was made by Anchor-Hocking between 1936 and 1948 in the Queen Mary pattern. Th ese particular pieces are often used with another depression pattern.
