Vintage Denoyer-Geppert B&W Pull Down School Map Resources of Africa MIT Series
Wonderful pull down school map by Denoyer-Geppert in black and white. This is a canvas/cloth map that measures about 43"x 64" WITHOUT the hem. It includes mounting bracket(no screws) and wood pole and operates easily and without issue. I found no holes. Tears or markings. There is water damage(light staining and rippling) along hem and bottom 5" of map. There are also a few creases along the side, likely from the roller. The very edges of the sides have age soil/darkening and there are a handful of light brown spots, please see all pictures. The balance of the map is excellent, there are no smells at all, no yellowing, just a fabulous map. This map. Along with more than 75 other school maps and charts that I will be listing, belonged to the estate of a longtime teacher who lovingly stored these works of art when they became ... moreobsolete or were replaced for more modern versions, and eventually the technology that we use in schools today. This is one of the finest, most eclectic collections I have found in all my years of hunting map collections. In fact, I have not had a large quantity of school maps in my possession in about 6 years, so if you see one you like, don't wait. I have not been through every single map yet but so far I have found no doubles. I have many very unique maps that I have not seen before so please check back as I get them listed. Beautiful pull down school map by George F. Cram dating back to the 1960s. There are 2 maps depicted; Mexican War& Compromise of 1850 and Territorial Expansion to 1854. This is a canvas/cloth map that measures about 51"x 78" WITHOUT the hem. It includes mounting bracket(no screws) and wood pole and operates easily and without issue. I found no holes. Tears, significant markings, creases or water damage. There is some light black marks in the center, likely from the roller, an extremely faint chalk line and slight soil along the bottom edge of the map with a little flaking at the end. The colors are very bright and vibrant, there are no smells at all, no yellowing, just a fabulous map. You will not be disappointed with the overall condition of this old map. This map. The Caribbean America/ Islands - Vintage, Antique, Pull Down, School, Wall Map
This is a vintage wall map of Caribbean America. Published circa 1950 by Denoyer-Geppert Co. This unique pull down map of the Caribbean shows countries, islands, railroads, cities and towns, and various geographic features. This map is in great condition for being made circa 1950. The paper is in great shape with a few rolled folds. Stains, and some paper loss along the top of the map close to the dowel. The map measures 36 3/4 inches wide x 26.5 inches tall, and with the wooden dowels included it measures 41 inches wide x 28 1/2 inches tall. This is a large, beautiful wall map full of history and geography!

The map includes a metal wall bracket and is mounted on a spring roller. The map measures 50 inches wide x 46 1/2 inches tall. Nice mid century pull down school map by Denoyer Geppert. This is a cloth/canvas map that measures about 43"x 55" WITHOUT the hem. Map has no tears or markings but does have some water damage down the right side of the map that has caused some rippling and light staining as well as some flaking along the side. It also has some light storage soil on the bottom 6" of the map and the hem has come away from the pole on one end. It is VERY slightly musty smelling. Colors are very bright and vibrant. No yellowing, still a nice old map. This map. Fabulous pull down school map from Denoyer Geppert. Dating to the 1950s 60s. This is a canvas/cloth slated map, one sided featuring US, that measures about 64"x 46" WITHOUT the hem. I found one tear at the bottom close to the pole, well clear of the map itself, faint chalk markings and light paint spatter close to the pole like someone painted the room with a roller when the map was rolled up and just the thin strip exposed. It would look unused if it weren't for some white scuffs on the hem. Colors are very bright and vibrant, map is very crisp, no yellowing, no smells of any kind, just a fantastic map. This map. Absolutely incredible pull down school map from George F. Cram of Chicago. Dating to the 1960s. This is a canvas/cloth map that measures about 51"x 78" WITHOUT the hem. It includes mounting bracket(no screws) and wood pole and operates easily and without issue. There are 2 different maps featured; United States in 1790 and about 1802& Thirteen Colonies 1760-1775. I found no holes, tears, markings, water damage or significant creases. There is light storage soil/darkening on the bottom 6" of the map, and some tape residue on the hem. Map is very crisp, colors are bright and vibrant, there are no smells at all, no yellowing, just a very very clean map. You will not be disappointed with the condition of this old map. This map. LARGE VINTAGE PULL DOWN WORLD HISTORY SCHOOL MAP EUROPE POPULATION DENSITY 1940s Large vintage world history school map. This is an interesting map and impressively big at 33 by 42 inches. The map depicts European population density after WWII and the Unification of Italy in the late 1800s. This is a professional school map used in world history classes in the 1960s. It is a heavy paper roll up map and quite colorful in person. The map is no longer mounted on a roll up bracket though. The vintage school maps have a lot of character and are great to display. You can mount them on foam board or smooth plywood. Some people use them for crafts since they are so interesting visually. They are great for home schooling too. The map is 50 years old but still looks good with vivid details and color. You will see some light fray to the paper here and ... morethere and some light age soiling but over all the map looks good.
