antique San Francisco map advertising the Harder furniture co (1910)
Awesome map of San Fracisco area with great advertisement regarding the F.H. Harder Manufacturing co. Look at pic's closely. Found a copy in the UC Berkley liabrary published by the Thomas Bros. map publishers and they put a date of 1910 on it. Map is in good condition but does have 1- A written in blue on the front right corner and a red line and an 8 in the left hand upper corner and some browning in the middle of the front that you can see but none on the back advertising the furniture. I inherited several hundred maps. Lithographs and blue prints from my uncle who was in the blue print business in Palo Alto, California in the 1970's. His collection of maps mostly all have red reference numbers for filing written on them so my best guess is that they were used as reference maps for newer maps and just general infomation for the ... morebusiness. I will slowly be listing the collection most of which pertain to California and in particular the San Francisco and Stanford(Palo Alto) areas. I have sold some items through Pacific Books Auction gallery that were well received so my feeling is these are very collectable.

1940s Road Map Street Map San Francisco Flying A Service
Circa 1940 street map of San Francisco advertising giveaway by Flying A Service. It is in very good to excellent condition. Showing onlt VERY slightly dirty folded front section and back section; unfolded, the other sections are very clean, except for a red stain about 1" long inside-could be red ink or from a cut. There are some small holes at the fold junctures here& there, especially along the central fold, and the bottom left corner of front and back have a crease line. Lithographed in green, the cover shows a cool picture of 2 eager gas station attendants in uniform: one checks the air in the tire of a sleek classic car while the other polishes the window. Gone are those days! The service station behind the automobile has signs that advertise Veedol Safety Brand Lubrication, Aero Betteries, and Federal Tires. This is a vintage souvenir of San Francisco. California. It is a"Factful and Colorful Guide" with a fold-out map. I can't tell the age but the phone numbers listed inside use a Name prefix. Ie: DElaware 3-3000, OVerland 1-7268. There is wear to the cover as well as some folded corner pages. There is also some stains and foxing. However the large fold-out map is in good condition with some seam wear. Please see photos.

RARE MUNI Info Map of San Francisco 36"x23.5" Laminated Vintage 1990's-2000'sERA
This is a rare AUTHENTIC MUNI Information map from the late 1990's early 2000's era. It is 36"x23.5" as I measured it. The youth fare was 35 cents adult was $1 and cable cars were only $2. It is the most detailed map of San Francisco MUNI maps I have seen. It names all the small ally's and streets that the newer maps and other maps do not show. I have had it in my bedroom for over a decade and has very little signs of wear on the laminate, but the map itself looks perfect and well protected. I learned how to navigate around the city with this map, I no longer have personal need or use of this. I am selling this as is pictured. I have never really seen anyone have one of these in my entire life living 29 years inside the city of SF. The premium I'm putting on the sale is due to the age it was made(tech boom, stock ... moreboom) and that I will probably never get my hands on a map this good, or close; it would look perfect framed in anyone's household. It literally has every nook and cranny street named and detailed on here, like I said. I've spent hours staring at the map, but that's just me. Vintage SAN FRANCISCO STREET MAP w/PLACES OF INTEREST 1976 BEAUTY!
This is a great vintage Street map of San Francisco from 1976. On the cover it reads" In San Francisco you need a street map" It also includes the"latest" freeways and interchanges: When folded the map is 8.5" by almost 4.5" When fully open the map is 25" across by 17.25" tall. It it is beautiful and frameable! It also includes on the left-hand border of the open map. Places of interest with photos. There are two small scotch taped areas. On the upper left hand corner and upper right hand corner of the open map. The lower left hand corner has a little bit of creasing and there is a slight, barely noticeable tear along one of the creases at the bottom of the map. Also there is a small white spot in the front where perhaps a sticker or a price tag had been attached. These can be seen in the photos. None ... moreof these affect the beauty of this map. The 1970's graphic style make this map even more interesting. I have never lived in San Francisco but have been there many times.
