Part Number: North America. Description: This is a great map from George S. Cram map company. It is of North America. It is in excellent condition. It doesn't look beat up at all. It looks almost new. The bar that holds the map is a little rusted, but that is about it. The map is 51" wide by 55" tall, but with the bar it is about 56" wide. This is nice Nystrom 3 part pull down map on a retractable roller with bracket. The three maps show Texas. The World, and the USA. The maps measure 65 inches wide with the largest extending down to 58 inches in length. They are made out of a plastic type of a material that is markable. This set is used but in very good condition. The only flaw is a small tear in the largest map(see photo) Please view enlarged photos. Note. The color in each map is even and like new but the camera flash causes some glare in some of the photos.

This is nice Rand McNally 3 part pull down map on a retractable roller with bracket. The three maps show Alaska. The World, and the USA. The maps measure 70 inches wide with the largest extending down to 50+ inches in length. They are made out of a plastic type of a material. This set is used but in very good condition. This chart came out of a school. There are white pieces of paper with state names that have been attached with scotch tape on the Alaska and USA map. They can be left on or taken off. You are looking at a vintage map of the World. It is by A.J. Nystrom and Company. This is a world Landform Physical/Political Map. The map measures about 55 inches wide x 48 inches long. It comes in the metal housing that will allow the map to be pulled down or rolled back up automatically. I don't have to send the metal housing with this. So let me know if you purchase it and just want the map. This shows most of the world with land elevations and depth elevations of water. All of this is in color coded form. Vintage Industrial Pull Down Wall Steel Map Rack Display Holder School Storage
This rack came to us with some maps that we recently bought at a school auction. The"C" cross section steel frames of most pull-down maps will slide over the tabs on this rack so multiple maps can be secured to the wall and moved if necessary. The rack measures 42" W x 26" T x 1.5" D and there are 10 tabs for maps. The tabs measure about 1 1/4" wide and 1/4" tall. The map has a few splotches of paint from overzealous room painters and it may be missing some parts- there is no clear built-in way for mounting the map to the wall. There are two tabs at either end attached with wing nuts which seem to be part of an incomplete attachment system. The rack could be mounted to the wall easily enough with some sort of creative fix. Antique Pull Down School Map of Africa, George F Cram Co, Excello series, OLD
This is an old pull down school map on linen. It is a map of the Africa. Dimensions are 43.5" wide x 56" long. There is no date to be found. Just that it is the Excello Series, and The George F Cram Company, Inc; Indianapolis 7, Indiana. It has French West Africa which ended in 1960. The condition of this map is not great as it has staining from previous moisture damage. There is staining present on the back side of the linen some is mildew stained. The front of the map has some age stains also. I personally think it has a lot of character and think it has great decorating potential. It rolls up and down well. It has been stored indoors in a dry environment for 30+ years so any stains that came from moisture happened well before that. This map is old and I wish I could get info on the exact date. This map has wrinkles and a few areas where the print has folds. It is the only map that I have sold that was returned. The reason she said it did not lay flat. Easy to fix if you just let the map hang it should level if that does not work it's just a matter of separating the lower dowel( two halves that are easy to separate) and re-aligning the map. The most notable flaws are the pictured fraying along the lower right edge and the 1 1/2" circle area that has been taped from the backside(Pictured just to the left of the frayed edge) The surface of this map measures about 43" across and is about 58" tall. It also includes the built in mounting bracket/rail so it's ready to install. These make great decorative pieces. The map measures 64 inches by 72 inches and is in fair condition. The bottom of the map has minor soiling and wear from use. But no more than expected for a used school map. There are a few pieces of tape on the front and some scuffing on the back. I had to use clothes pins to keep the inner page from curling. It had been rolled up so long it did not want to stay unrolled. The spring loaded retracting mechanism is in good condition. The map is undated. Free shipping is for the continental US only.
